One high maintenance star

The Pocket Pal, designed after Meggan Mallone, does what it is intended to do. It makes masturbation more pleasurable. The internal ribbing feels great but the cleaning and care this toy requires is quite daunting, even for experienced users.

Pros:
Phthalates-free, accommodates larger men, ribbed internal structure.
Cons:
Smells, very difficult to clean, a lot of material upkeep.

Packages from larger toy companies all seem to have similar packaging, and the Pocket Pal is no different. Designed after Meggan Mallone, Vivid’s newest star, this Doc Johnson release has her plastered all over the front, along with an image of the toy itself.

Upon opening the package, you immediately smell the toy. It’s made of a material called UR3. It’s a mixture of PVC and silicone, which makes it highly flexible but also highly porous. It also needs to be dusted with cornstarch after every use. It will “melt” to other toys, absorb colors, and should only ever be used with water-based lubricant. Cleaning should be done with massive amounts of water and an antibacterial soap. The good news is that it’s both phthalates-free and latex-free. Because this toy cannot be sterilized, it should not be shared unless both users wear a condom. Wearing a condom, even if not planning on sharing, will really cut down on cleaning time and lengthen the life of this product.

Once the Pocket Pal is washed a few times, the smell reduces though very slightly. Armed with water based lubricant, I took the Pocket Pal for a few test runs. The sleeve is very large. With a 7” length and 8 ½” in circumference, I can’t imagine a single man this sleeve would not work for. It has an open ended design, so even if you’re longer than 7”, you could still use this sleeve. Because it is open-ended, it does not create suction. The open ended design does make cleaning easier though. This may be a good or bad thing based on your needs. The internal design of the Pocket Pal is ribbed. On each rib is a series of small nubs. The nubs are lost on me after initial penetration, but the ribs do feel good. The toy works effectively as a sleeve, just be aware of the detailed care the material requires.

That's the problem with a lot of pocket pussies... the weird-ass material.

Too bad the cleaning issue is such a bitch for most male masturbators.
Thanks for the review!

  • Women Reviewers.
    • Recently I had a review ask why I was the one who was writing a review on a male product, well that is because we need more men reviewing... And honestly Couple reviews are great but being able to write your own review is great also, anybody agree? I love EF and I am so thankful for the powerful orgasms that their products have brought me... I think we definitely owe thanks... And men... You need to get on here and write some reviews.... By the way, Good job Ladies who write reviews on their husbands products as well...

Yup I totally agree, my 2 favorite male reviewers ended up leaving the site when all that weird shit went down. I was so sad :(. My boyfriend reviews, but there are just not even many male things to review for him so he often ends up just getting something he wants to see me in etc.

I am higher up so I have more options, so I write reviews on guys products fairly often.

We need more men! Women...get your guys reviewing!
    • Well we still have a lot of men who are kinda eeked out by sex toys and the like. Mine is. I mean he readily uses vibes and dildos on me and had no issues with the Tenga Egg, but he doesn't like the idea of pocket pussies or fleshlights. But he thinks it's cool that I do it and he tells everyone about it. He'd never do it himself though.
