Sleek Black Elegance

This is a great looking cock ring which is rigid but lightweight, thanks to its ceramic material. The beautiful black glaze makes it dishwasher safe, so it's easy to care for. Just be sure to measure yourself, so you know it fits.

Use

This is a rigid cock ring, designed to go around both the penis and scrotum. It constricts the flow of blood to the penis, leading to a firmer and more pronounced erection.

This particular ring is ceramic, so it's rigid. As with other rigid cock rings, it works best to put this on while flaccid, before getting an erection. Most men will find it easiest to put the scrotum through the ring first, one testicle at a time, before slipping the flaccid penis through the ring.

I find this ring relatively easy to remove when I'm done with it. If I've already lost my erection, my penis slips out easily and then I can carefully remove it from my scrotum. If I still have an erection, I push it upwards so that it is not pressing too hard against my penis, and that usually allows my erection to subside enough to slip the ring off.

Material / Texture

This ring is a hard ceramic, with a glossy black glaze. One side has four small colorless gems (I have no idea what they are made of) which are sparkly and attractive.

According to the manufacturer, Duncan Charles Designs, the glaze is a food grade high gloss coating which is dishwasher safe. The glaze makes the ring perfectly smooth, so it doesn't pull on your pubic hair.

Ceramic is rigid, a quality which many look for in cock rings, but it's much lighter than metal, which is the most common material for this sort of ring. Some men may miss the heft of metal, but I liked the lightness of this toy. It feels much less intimidating to me.
    • Not porous at all
    • Rigid
    • No odor

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

This ring is 2 1/4" in diameter. It's rigid, of course, so it doesn't stretch at all. So you'll want to be sure it's the right size for you before buying it. I found that it was just big enough for me to be able to put it on, but small enough to do its job. It was pretty much the perfect size for me, making it the first rigid cock ring I've tried which actually fits well.

I find it comfortable to wear, but I wouldn't wear it for more than 30 minutes, due to concerns about blocking blood flow for too long.
    • Can fit over both shaft and testicles
    • Elegant
    • Fitted - must measure before purchase

Care and Maintenance

Generally I just clean this in the sink with soap and warm water, but the ceramic is glazed so it's dishwasher safe, making it very easy to clean. I don't know what the gems are made of or how they're attached, so I'm not completely certain that they'll survive in the dishwasher, but personally I'm not very attached to them, so if they did fall off I wouldn't care.

There are no worries about lube compatibility with ceramic, so go ahead and use whatever lubricant you prefer with this toy.

The ring comes with an attractive pouch for storing it. I keep this ring in my nightstand, in the pouch that came with it, but you could store it pretty much anywhere, as it's small and discreet. It's quite attractive (and not necessarily obvious to everyone what it is) so you could just leave it out if you prefer.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The packaging is minimal, but it gets the job done. The ring comes inside its pouch, which is nestled between layers of batting in a plain (but attractive) red cardboard box. There's nothing written on the box, so it's rather discreet. You could easily wrap the box to make a very nice gift.

There are no instructions included with this toy, so if you've never used a cock ring you'll want to look online for appropriate guidelines for using cock rings. I've outlined the steps for putting it on in the usage section above, but you can find other guides to wearing cock rings online. I wouldn't recommend wearing a cock ring for an extended period of time, as cutting off blood to the penis is not something you want to do for too long.
    • Appropriate for gift-giving
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

A ceramic cock ring sounds really awesome! I think I'd prefer this without the gemstones, but I wonder if they're there to cover up the spots where the ring rests while it's being fired.

    Great review.

Great review! I'm still too afraid I'd get stuck in a non-stretchable cock ring though.

Antipova: yeah, I'd prefer it without them, too. Interesting theory for why they're there. It's certainly plausible.

Super sexy! I am glad you found it comfortable to wear. We have yet to use a hard material like this for cock rings.

I still prefer the stretchy kind, but for a rigid ring, this one is pretty great. (But of course everyone is built differently and it's important to find the right size, so this won't fit everyone as well.)
