The Tenga Flip Hole is just... awesome! It can be used pretty much anywhere, and I think that anyone with a penis will enjoy this toy! Use is very simple. You can either open it up and apply an even coating of lube throughout the entire inside, or you can just hold it vertically and pour some lube in the opening (that is what I do). Once it is all lubed up and ready to go, you insert your penis and instantly experience pleasure. If you pour the lube in the end, you may want to twist it around a time or two, just to make sure that the lube gets spread around.
While this is small enough and easy enough to use just about anywhere, it makes an especially excellent shower companion. It is easy to hold on to even when it is wet, the hard plastic base is suitable for holding against the wall and thrusting into, and when you are done, it is super convenient to clean it out. But feel free to experiment and use it anywhere... like when sky-diving or horseback riding.
The Flip Hole is made out of TPR Silicone which is a somewhat soft and spongy/rubbery material. The inner texture of this toy almost looks like a set of mechanical gears. The design is looks cool, and is very different from what you are used to seeing in male masturbation toys. In use, the texture feels really really good. The feel doesn't really match what you would expect by looking at it, but it does feel really good. It didn't really have any noticeable smell when it came out of the packaging.
Compared to other male toys of this nature, the Flip Hole looks like something out of a Sci-Fi movie. At a glance, you might look at it and think that it was designed from a purely visual standpoint, and also that it probably lacks in delivery... but that is completely wrong!
Overall, the Flip Hole is cylindrical, and about the same size as one of those giant cans of delicious Fosters beer. Off the top of my head I think the Flip Hole might be a little taller, but you get the point. According to item properties, it weighs 1.5 pounds, is 6 3/4" tall, has a 9 1/4" circumference, a usable depth of 6", and will accommodate a penis up to 'any size'.
This toy is not at all recognizable as a sex toy, but it is noticeable if you leave it sitting out. People would definitely notice it, and ask "What's that cool looking thing?" It could be easily tucked away in a drawer, a busy bathroom shelf with lots of bottles, a glove compartment, or even inside a medium to large size suit case (for travel).
The Flip Hole doesn't have any motorized parts, or anything that moves during use, but it does have moving parts that are worth noting here. The best comparison that I can think of is a butterfly knife (aka balisong). The Flip Hole is actually two pieces. The main part, or the sleeve, is cut into two almost identical halves that hinge in the middle. This hinge allows you to open the Flip hole the whole way open to clean, dry, or powder the interior.
The second piece is a base or dock for the Flip Hole. It is flat on the bottom, and has two 'arms' that extend up the sides of the Flip Hole to keep it closed when 'docked'. This works by using a simple 'tongue in groove' type joint that locks into place buy sliding the Flip Hole down onto the base. So, depending on whether you want to store or use the Flip Hole, you simply slide it off the base, flip it over, and then slide it back onto the base.
There are also little openings or window on the sides of the Flip Hole. During use, the displaced TPR Silicone material pushes out these little windows. You can also grip and add pressure to this area to alter or enhance the sensations during use.
This toy splits in half, so it is extremely easy to clean (with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, or with a toy cleaner). After cleaning, you need to allow it to dry before storing. To speed up the drying process, you can place the hinge part of the Flip Hole over the base. Standing it up by having the 'arms' of the base hold the Flip Hole upside down where it hinges. Once the Flip Hole is dry, you simply slide it back onto its base (hole side down), and then store it. It has its own storage container, but you can also store the entire unit inside the plastic tube that it came in.
This toy is made out of TPR Silicone (which is a silicone based rubber compound). It should be washed before and after every use. You should only use water-based lubes with this toy.
The Flip Hole comes in a plastic tube that can also be used as a storage container. It comes with 3 different tubes of Tenga water-based lube: Mild, Real, and Wild. While the packaging itself maybe not exactly scream gift box, it is very cool looking. And this might be one of the best male gift ideas of all time! While most of what goes on with the Flip Hole is obvious, it would have been nice to include a set of instructions in English.
The only item that I can think that compares to the Flip Hole is the Fleshlight. Aside from the fact that they are both a rubbery material with a hole in the center for your penis, they are both so extremely different from one another. The Flip Hole is classier, easy to clean, and will last longer. The Fleshlight is a little cheaper, and has more texture options. As far as feeling goes, they are both good but different. I own both, I use both, I like both!
I've been using the Flip Hole for maybe 9-10 months now, and it is so awesome! I have been meaning to do a review on it for a while, and this week I just got the new Flip Hole Black. So I decided to use the regular Flip Hole a few more times and complete this review before using the new Flip Hole Black.... later tonight perhaps! I can't wait! I will keep you posted!
The Fliphole is absolutely amazing! I have owned the original Fliphole (the white one) for almost a year now, and I still enjoy it! It is still in 'almost new' condition, and I have had no problems at all with this masturbation device.

I would say the Superskin is a slightly softer. They both feel pretty much the same when you touch them, but the TPR material is little more dense, where as the Superskin material is a little lighter and fluffier.

That is a really good question! I do use both of them. The Flip Hole is superior to the Fleshlight in almost every way, but, I do reach for the Fleshlight a little more often than the Flip Hole. I am glad to own both, and if something happened to both of them (like they were stolen by aliens), I would replace both of them.

Actually the white circle on the side are plastic. They are more for decoration, but I guess they can help to manipulate the sensations a bit.
The grayish-clear looking sort of oval shapes on the sides are what I was referring to as 'windows'. This is actually an opening on the outer plastic case, and the inner TPR sleeve pushes out through these openings some what.
