Use

The double-dipped lip balm is two different scented/flavored lip balms in one container. Lip balm is used to give a glossy coat to your lips and to provide moisture to them, especially during the dry season. The mixture of milk chocolate and salted caramel are like rubbing a milky way on your lips. This lip balm is more for the shine and flavor/scent than for the moisture, though.

There aren't many ingredients that are allergy causing unless you are allergic to soybeans or olives.

The container is gender neutral, so men and women can enjoy the use of this product.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Upon opening the container you can see that the chocolate and the slated caramel are split down the middle. The caramel is the lighter brown and the chocolate is the darker brown. You can tip the jar upside down and the lip balm will not come out. Once you rub your finger across the top of the lip balm you can see that it comes off really thin and clear. It is almost like the sweat of a candle. Once you apply it to your lips you notice you need to add more to your lips multiple times in order to notice it is there. However, it is not chunky or sticky, so it feels really natural.

Taste / Aroma

The smell is sweet and salty, which is because it is milk chocolate and salted caramel. The first smell, to me, was like a candle, but this is because the ingredients contain wax. The smell out of the container is strong, but not over powering. Once you apply it to your lips the smell lingers around for sometime. It reminds me most of milky ways.

The taste is just as wonderful as the smell. It is not too sweet or too salty, but more salty than sweet. I don't taste much caramel, but definitely milk chocolate. There is no waxy taste or bad taste what so ever.

Performance

If you are eating, talking, drinking, or are a constant lip licker your lip balm will need constant reapplying, but if left alone it last about an hour. I find it dries fast and leaves your lips feeling dry, but with a thin soft coat on them. I wish it lasted longer, but the smell lingers around even after it is absorbed into your lips. It goes on nice and clear, but also thin. Should you want to wash it off a dry cloth will do just fine, but if you still feel it try a damp cloth.

Packaging

The 0.75oz container comes in a little box that has no use other than decoration. Inside is the silver container with a sticker on the top and bottom. The top sticker labels the scent/flavor pick and has some images on it. Fleur de sel has the Eiffel Tower on it and a poodle prancing down the street next to a sign that says Bon Bon Patisserie. This sticker can be removed. The cap stays on well, but is not a screw off cap. The bottom sticker list the ingredients and tells you the flavor/scent.

Follow-up commentary
I still really like this gloss. It smells nice. I haven't used it much, but I do love it. I can't wait to try the chocolate cherry one.

Everyone keeps mentioning that theirs wasn't too sweet but, mine was. I wonder if maybe I received a sweeter lip balm than others? I might have to try this one again. I want to try the cherry first though!
