Double dipped lip balm by Not Soap Radio - review by Zombirella

Not Soap Radio's Cocoa Nostra Confectionery lip balm in Frozen Banana is a sweet yummy double treat for your lips! It is a double-sided arsenal of chocolate and banana lip balm. It comes in a cute little box that states, "It's a chocolate hit! Deliciously ALL-NATURAL.” Inside the box is the .75oz round tin of balm with an adorable carnival themed picture and the flavor written across the top. The tin is pretty nice but I think I may have gotten a defective one as the lid doesn't stay on securely and comes off fairly easily. When I put it in my purse, I put it inside the zipper pocket so the lid doesn't pop off and leave the balm open and exposed in my purse.



As soon as you pull the top of the tin off you can smell the sweet chocolate and ripe banana scents. The flavors are nestled side by side within the tin, split right down the middle. You can choose to use just one flavor or mix it up for the ultimate treat. You can use both by swirling your finger around right in the middle or use one flavor on your top lip and one on the bottom! The balm is solid and requires a couple swirls of the finger to get some product. It feels thin and silky on your finger and your lips. This flavor perfection leaves your lips feeling smooth, conditioned and totally satisfyingly kissable!

The chocolate side tastes like a light dark chocolate and the banana side actually tastes like a banana. I find many banana flavored lip balms don't but this one does! I love the taste; it's very sweet and not waxy. The balm stays where it is applied. The aroma from the open tin makes your mouth water; it smells good enough to eat! This balm probably isn't good for very chapped lips because it isn't thick enough but it's perfect for keeping your lips soft and smooth and a delightful surprise when you give your partner a kiss! Mine said it made my lips taste sweet.



The ingredients are: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cetearyl, Alcohol, Lauryl Laurate, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Beeswax, Copernicia Cerifera (Camauba) Wax, Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax, Theobroma cacao (Cocoa) Extract, Flavor, and Mica.

I love the taste and smell! I would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious flavoured/scented balm. I'm interested in trying the other flavors they have to offer which are: Black & White Cookie, Cherry Cordial, and Fleur De Sel.
