This review is very similar to my review of the female version because the products are basically the same and my partner had the same reaction to the male on that I had for the female one.

From Shunga, this tube contains three doses of a potent liquid designed to give sexual energy. It contains natural herbs and ingredients that will both energize you and give your libido a boost. It turn it heightens sexual arousal and can help you last longer than usual. In order for this product to be fully effective you may need to take a dose every day for three days prior to being able to take just one dose a half hour before sex. You have to take it a little while before sex because it can take a little while to kick in, just like alcohol. Speaking of, it is best mixed with something like a strong juice or alcohol. I suggest mixing with something that has a strong flavor because the Sexual Energy taste won't appeal to everyone. Please read the ingredient list thoroughly before using this product. This product has not been inspected by the FDA.

Ingredients: Epidenium, Tribulus, Hard Wood Roots, Maca, Guarana, Water, Glycerine, Aroma (Natural Flavor), Sucralose, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Methyl Paraben

-Epidenium: Enhances sexual sensations through actions on certain neurotransmitters and heightens tactile sensation
-Tribulus: Increases the body's natural testosterone levels
-Maca: Increases stamina, boosts libido, and combats fatigue
-Guarana: Has a high concentration of caffeine, is a defensive toxin that repels pathogens
-Glycerine, Sucralose: Sweetner
-Citric Acid and Sodium Benzoate: Preservative
-Methyl Paraben: A naturally produces compound from fruits, Antimicrobial agent (the safest of the parabens. It is generally considered to not be associated with the type that is thought to cause cancer), In order for Methyl Parabens to be damaging they have to be applied to the skin and react with UVB light.

The serum looks pretty gross because it is a brown liquid, about the thickness of 1% milk. It's not entirely as smooth, but it easily mixes with other liquids. The recommendation on the package is to mix it with juice or alcohol. Shake well before drinking. Particles from some ingredients can create sediments on the bottom of the bottle.

Even though this serum has different ingredients than the female version, it tastes very similar. It's very earthy and definitely potent. It mixes well with juices and alcohol, but you'll need a lot to cover the taste, in my opinion. My partner had an easier time masking the taste, but that's probably because he doesn't have as keen of a sense of taste or smell.

When my partner and I decided to take shots of both the male and female versions of this, I have to say that it was at the end of long days for both of us. I worked a long day and he had a long day of studying and then taking exams. It was one of those situations where we so wanted to do something together but didn't have the necessary energy. We decided to each take a shot of ours.

The directions state that you may have to take three full shots of this stuff, one every day for three days, before getting the full effect of one shot. This was not the case for us. It only took the one dose. It also didn't take 30 minutes to kick in. I felt the effects in more like 5-10 minutes. My partner said his experience was about the same. It's uncertain if the herbal supplement was the source of our sudden energy, not to mention sexual randiness at the hour of the day, but we did have a very long sex session! Maybe it was the placebo affect, but either way we did enjoy ourselves. We just wish the stuff tasted better. It's a hard taste to get out of your mouth. I think I liked it less than my boyfriend, but he wasn't a fan either.

Like with mine experience, my partner also didn't experience any jitters or trouble sleeping. The effects lasted a few hours and seemed to slowly go away.

The supplement comes in a glass tube. It has a Shunga artwork piece on the front of a couple in a sexual embrace. It has non-discreet language such as "Men Sexual Energie". The black label wraps around and leaves a small gap so you can see the contents inside and how much has been consumed. On the side of this gap are markings showing each dose. Do not take more than one dose at once!

The ingredient list and nutrition label are also on the side. On the bottle is a paper sticker with the lot number and expiration date. Mine expired in 06/2011, and I got it roughly a year prior to that. The top is a screw off plastic cap. It has not leaked. The bottles come sealed in plastic.
