From the moment I opened the bottle and smelt the pure, clean fragrance, I knew it was going to be something that I would enjoy. The question was not if I would like it--the question was would it be something enjoyable to my wife and would it cause her to want to be intimate? I have to say that this pheromone-based product does seem to work. I put a little on and walked past my wife. I always wear cologne, so that would not be a surprise to her. She rarely, if ever, comments on that anymore unless I have put on too much. As soon as I walked past wearing Pure Instinct, she said, “Did you get new cologne?” Then she said, “I kind of like that.” That response would have been enough. My wife is not a really talkative person. Yet several times during the day, she commented on how nice it smelt. That blew me away. I am not sure if it was the pheromones or the fact that she really liked the smell, but she did want to be close. And after all, isn’t that what the cologne is supposed to do? I also used it as a base under a different cologne. It did not seem to work as well like that for me. But then it may have been that I just wore it prior to that alone. Another nice thing is you don’t have to use much of it to be able to smell it. Just a few dabs on the neck and a few other spots, and you're good for the day. Another trick is to put a dab of it on your wife’s side of the bed or near her computer or chair where she sits. Once she associates that scent to you, whenever she smells it, she will think of you. It says it is good for her to use as well. But in this house, we may never know. I am keeping this all to myself. What I've heard is that you're not smelling the oil itself, but it is enhancing your natural pheremones. Furthermore, it's not actually a scent but something that is processed by the nose so we think of it as a scent. Weird, huh?
