Striptease kit - sensual kit discontinued by Entrenue - review by Dame Demi

Let me start by saying I dance with all the grace of a drunken elephant. I am not being self-effacing or humorous, just facing facts—I am not graceful, and my “moves” leave a little to be desired. My husband, however, has been begging me to do a striptease for him our entire married life, so I finally swallowed my fears and purchased this kit, hoping it could provide me at least with some helpful tips, if not natural grace.

The kit comes in a very sturdy cardboard box, with artwork that is appropriate to the theme, but still tasteful enough, considering. The kit contains just about everything you need to do a basic striptease, though I probably would have included a g-string, and you will probably need one to complete the experience. As is, it comes with an instructional booklet, “routine” cards, a sheer scarf, sequined pasties and glue for adhering them, and body glitter. The scarf is a decent size and adequate for the purpose, but not particularly high quality; likewise, the pasties stay put with the glue, but are not particularly comfortable. Then again, for the price of the kit, I would say the products are sufficient.

The manual is very useful, covering topics such as effective hair and makeup, which clothes are easy to remove, props, atmosphere, and most importantly, CONFIDENCE! The book is two-color, illustrated, and not particularly impressive, but it does provide some useful advice. The most useful advice in the book, though, is the reminder to remember constantly that the person watching finds you attractive and wants to see more!

Finally, the kit contains 10 fold-out routine cards, covering different styles of striptease, from burlesque to punk rock to go-go dancing—really a very nice variety, and you are sure to find something suited to your personality (though “drunken elephant” was NOT included!). The cards are sturdy and fold out to reveal plenty of information. They give a general overview of the type of strip routine, suggestions for hair, makeup, clothing, music and sexy names, and finally a step-by-step breakdown of the dance routine.

Though it may not make me feel graceful in the dance department, The Striptease Kit|Striptease kit provided enough props and useful information for me to at least give stripping for my husband a go. You will not find me pole-dancing at a local club anytime soon, but it definitely gave me the knowledge and confidence to try it at home!

I still think this is one of the best introductions to doing an effective striptease|Erotic birthday to him at home. Be forewarned, though, about the body glitter. It is glitter. Glitter made to adhere to the body. So prepare for some commitment when you use it, and/or have some good explanations on hand.
