Bring Some Sexy Back

This is the type of product that can really help liven things up without going overboard! I was able to learn some sexy moves in the privacy of my own home, and have practiced them to the point of confidence.

My husband has been deployed for seven months and I thought this might be just the thing to help bring the sexy back into our marriage upon his return. The Striptease kit comes in an adorable (heavy duty) little box to hold everything it comes with: a black sheer scarf, some red sequin pasties with body glue, gold body glitter, and of course-- your instruction manual and routine note cards. I like the note cards because they give you a scene; how to do a burlesque number or how to play the girl next door for example. Each card gives you a few songs to add music to use for your dance, and specific step sequences that work well with that scenario. It gives you ideas of how to do your hair and what kind of outfits to wear to create a mood for your performance.

The music is popular enough that I had almost all of the songs in my iTunes readily available, and the dance moves were easy enough that even a beginner can do them and put together a nice little number. The clothing can be found in most closets, with a few interesting pieces thrown in.

I have not put my moves into action and have thus not used the body glitter. In all honesty, I don't know if we're that into the stripper story to glitter up. It seems to me as if it would be more messy than I'm willing to go.

I did try out the pasties to see if I could get them to work. I just put a little bit of glue on the back of them and tried to adhere them to my breasts. It worked well enough, but I think I would not be shy with the glue next time for a better hold while I shake around dancing.

We have this kit too and you're right about the glitter. Very messy, and not so easy to wash off. You *can* use a little of the pastie glue to paint a little heart or something somewhere though, then sprinkle some of the glitter on that. It's not quite so messy that way and easier to wash off later.

Are the cards easy to follow all the steps?

How many sorts of moves are shown here? I'd like to learn some striptease basics, but I'm not sure if there's enough here for the price.

There are ten cards/scenes Most have three - four moves, some have six and one has seven. There are fifteen moves in the book then a few different "transition" moves from one move to the next. They are pretty easy! I think it's worth the cost because for each of the "scenes" they tell you some songs, what to wear, how to do your hair and make up and some "stripper" names you can use for that character. The scenes are: Hula girl, Girl Next Door, Go-Go Dancer, The Schoolgirl, Boudoir Betty, Punk Rock Girl, Strip Club Diva, The Burlesque Dancer, Hip Hop Booty Shaker and the Hot Executive.
