There are many uses for the Liberator Ramp/Wedge Combo. In fact, Liberator has several resources (see their website), including a position book and a DVD included with the Combo, that explain many of the seemingly endless possibilities (Although, none of them mention how useful the Ramp is to prop you up in bed to watch TV or how handy the Wedge can be as a laptop desk!).

I have enjoyed the ability the Combo affords me to try new and often otherwise unattainable positions. It has been fun and amusing to try suggested positions that wouldn't have even occurred to my partner and me. But the most significant benefit of getting the Combo, for me, has been the improvement in the every day stuff, the old standards.

Truth be told, I am not all that interested in new, more acrobatic, impressive ways to fuck. I like the Missionary position (gasp). I like Cowgirl. I like Doggie-style. The Combo brings something to every position. Its strongest feature is its simple versatility. It is, after all, just a couple of wedge pillows, but the support and comfort that can be achieved with these simple pieces makes a huge difference.

I expected better back support. I expected relief from pressure on hips, knees and other joints due to strenuous activity. I expected deeper penetration in certain positions. I wasn't expecting the Combo would increase the intimacy of my sexual experience. My favorite use of the Ramp/Wedge Combo is for the Cowgirl position. The Ramp raises the torso of the person on the bottom in a way that brings a couple physically closer and increases the intimacy of the position ten-fold. Even the Doggie-style position, with the Ramp underneath me, allowed my partner to bend over me, with his entire body in contact with mine... changing the whole dynamic of one of the least intimate sexual-positions I know.

The Ramp/Wedge Combo design is deceptively simple. They are simply two different wedge shapes, one large and one small, but you can use them together or separately in a variety of combinations to support your body in seemingly endless ways.

The fabric cover is a soft microfiber that feels wonderful against bare skin. It comes with a zipper, so it can be easily removed and washed. This becomes important when you realize that the fabric attracts every particle of dust and strand of hair in the room. Because of this, you will make used of the fitted, nylon cover that comes with each piece, for storage.

The pillow material is your basic firm foam and appears to be well-made and sturdy. In the 9 months I've owned the Combo, it has shown no loss of shape in the foam or wear in the fabric cover.

The Ramp and the Wedge have held up well with frequent use. I keep the Ramp on my bed all the time for watching TV and occasionally even use the Wedge as a laptop desk. But, of course, the Ramp/Wedge Combo shines when it's used for sex. We've used it most often for Doggie-style and Cowgirl, but it has also worked very well when experimenting with anal penetration while facing each other. This has been a position that, without the Combo, was just not achievable for us.
