Plush and Wonderful
The Eden Fantasys toy pouches are an excellent option for storing just about anything but, in particular, glass and ceramic pieces. They're lightly padded, very well made, have incredibly useful corded drawstrings, stay closed well and protect your toys from banging against each other. Excellent for any toy that will fit!Published: March 6, 2010
Pros:
Lightly padded, double lined, soft, well made, excellent corded drawstrings.
Cons:
More colors would be nice.
I have issues. No, seriously, I have issues. I have a lot of glass, metal, stone, ceramic and wood toys that need to be stored in pouches so as not to break, scratch or chip them. Unfortunately, nearly everything comes with either a)no pouch, b)a satiny pouch or c)a hugely padded pouch. Satin pouches are pretty but they don't do much to protect my toys. And those hugely padded pouches? They never close all the way, I've had two drawstrings break and I always feel like I'm shoving my toys up the ass of a stuffed animal. They're too big, they take up too much room and they come in the ugliest colors.
So what's a girl to do?
Buy an EF toy pouch, that's what.
And so I did.
The pouches are 10.5 inches long by nearly 5 inches wide so they're plenty big to hold nearly any toy or a few small toys if you don't need to worry about them touching. The exterior is velvety (mine is purple) with a hot pink satiny interior. They are not padded like those stuffed animal-like pouches but they are much thicker than any other velvet or satin bag I have. Lightly padded, I would have to say, the padding created by the layers of material rather than a wad of batting inside.
The drawstrings are corded, reminding me of drapery tie backs. A very nice touch and much more durable and easy to use than any satin ties or nylon cord I've come across before. They can be pulled tight to cinch or you can actually tie them in a loose knot. Even unknotted they hold tight, keeping the bag closed even if you tip it upside down and shake it.
Heaven!
The design on the exterior of these bags is the pink and purple Eden Fantasys logo, complete with apple "e", done up in rhinestones and nail heads. It's tasteful, not at all gaudy, and seems durable, as well. I've yet to have a stone fall off.
The interior of the bag is very well done; no rough edges or bad seams, even if you turn it inside out to really look at it. It is a bit hard to get silicone toys into them as the satin and silicone stick together but hard, slick toys slide right in.
Clean these bags, if you need to, by hand washing and letting air dry. I can't imagine the design would hold up well to machine washing or drying.
The only bad thing I have to say about the bags is I wish they came in more colors so I could color coordinate my sex toys. But, yanno, that's not much of a complaint, is it?

I am amazed by how well these bags are holding up. The cords still look shiny, the bag is not the least bit worn, it has absolutely no signs of wear and tear at all.
While not the most thickly padded bag around, these are my favorite, hands down. And I've got a LOT of drawstring bags!

Toy storage: How do you do it?
-
So I have a few different types of toy pouches. There's the thin pouches, such as the "toy pouch". Then there's the semi-thick pouches, such as the "Eden toy pouch". And then... there's.... the extremely thick, heavily padded pouches, such as the Phallix Pleasure Pouch, or the Xhale pouches that you recieve with their products.
I'm curious as to which toys you keep in which pouches, and what is your criteria? Do you only keep the really expensive glass toys in the expensive, heavily padded pouches? Or do you throw them wherever is convenient? Do you only use pouches for travel, and display your toys all over your home?
Some people prefer their dresser drawers, toy boxes, and even safes! So let us know! -

Especially those little cheap ones that come with SSA Glass toys. I use those to conceal toys, rather than to protect. So those pouches usually contain toys that aren't so breakable. Maybe a pocket rocket, silicone, or plastic toy. I hate storing any toys "naked" right next to one another, so that's another use for those cheap pouches.

Pouches like the "Eden Toy Pouch" will hold the more expensive, but not breakable toys. These will maybe hold a hard plastic G-Spot vibe. If I have a glass toy that I'm not too fond of anymore, maybe has a few scratches already and isn't one of my favorites, you'll find them in one of these.
Then, for the Phallix or Xhale pouches... These basically hold all my expensive, most treasured glass pieces. So for instance, my Violet Wonder, Icicles No. 24, Bumpy Fantasy, etc.
I also have toy boxes, and I put the bags into the boxes. I don't go as far as using a safe. That seems a little silly to me, unless I had kids or something. -
I keep ours in a safe in our bedroom. My kids cant find them and we dont have to worry about them getting lost. And it also gives me a place to keep papers I dont want to lose it there is ever a fire in the house.

Thank you for viewing Eden toy pouch – sex toy storage review page!

I agree that there should be more colors.
I like blue, and pink and...
Thanks for the review, I'm actually shopping for pouches.
The camera angle is really interesting on the video. It feels interactive.
These are absolutely beautiful. When Edenfantasys designs something, they design it well. I love the bags' drawstrings especially, those are their best feature because they're so well-done and thick.
So pretty! I love the contrast of the purple against the interior pink color! Nice review
