This is used to hold your partners wrist's down by their ankles. The package shows a woman wearing these standing up, bent over. We have found that these work better when you are on your back, with your knees held against your chest. This way tends to work the best and be the most comfortable. In this position, it leaves her happy spot open to you, and her hands restrained from stopping the fun.
This is a simple design, good for beginners getting into bondage play in the bedroom. It is limited in what it can do. This bar probably will not be of much use to couples that are heavy into bondage. You can get so much more out of rope or cuffs and tethers.
This basic design is a metal bar, covered in nylon. It has 4 nylon cuffs with Velcro. It is super simple, both in design and use. But somehow sportsheets makes it work.
The metal bar can hurt you, it is after all made of metal. It was not meant to be used as a paddle. So as long as you dont spank, drop, or throw it you should be fine. The Velcro straps are comfortable to wear, and easy to remove when needed.
The bar is 16 inches long. The wrist straps are on the ends of each side. The ankle straps centered on each half. The cover does not remove.
These preformed well when used like stated above. The did not work well for standing positions. But to hold her knees to her chest, they worked every time. You might be able to stand up and use these if you are super flexible.
Although these do what they were designed to do, we have moved on to just using cuffs and tethers. I can keep her in any position I want, without having to worry about moving the bar because it was in the way.
I recommend these to beginners. They will let you get started without spending a lot of money. You get a high quality item and can learn some of the ropes.
These come in a cardboard box with a picture of a woman using them. Not too discreet looking. The box works well for storage, though no necessary. We just recycled ours. It was easier to just throw the bar in the drawer without the box.
Ours have not gotten so dirty that we have had to wash them off. We do wipe them down every now and then with a wipe. The color has not faded, and the material has held up very well. I suppose you could rinse it off, but I would recommend you dry it off as soon as you were done. I do not know what kind of metal the bar is made from. But I would guess some type of cheap steal, seeing how it is not visible. Cheap metal does not have nickle in the alloy mixture, so it will rust.
We store ours in the drawer or the closet. Either way we have never had a problem. Our other sportsheet Velcro cuffs do tend to stick to the Velcro on the spreader bar often. But they are really easy to separate.
Like I said above. This is a good product for a beginner. It is a good quality product overall, but beginners will get more use out of it.
Follow-up commentary
I still like it

This comes out to play from time to time. We still enjoy it. Problem is, we have so many toys, and so little time; that the toy rotation is pretty slow. This works very well for light bondage play. We are not into the heavy bondage, just not our thing. But some light bondage from time to time adds excitement to our love making. If you are looking into trying out light bondage play, this would work well for you. Its not scary. It should not frighten your partner.

Love the look of these, great tip about lying on your back, as i wouldnt really like it standing bent over, now i love the idea. Thanks for review.
yes, it would be very uncomfortable standing up and using these. thanks for reading my review.
Thanks for the review. I wouldn't have thought to use it lying down.
Thanks for the review
Thanks for the review, I was wondering how well this would work in a standing position. I couldn't see it being very comfortable or practical. I had a mental image of constantly being afraid of falling over.
Thank you!
