This lube is recommended specifically for male masturbation. Its ingredients make it unwise for vaginal penetration, use with condoms or use with plastic toys (or any toy made with a petroleum derivative)but otherwise there's no reason it can't be used for anal play by anybody who loves the smell of leather.

This lube is thick and creamy, reminding me of a lotion rather than a lube. It certainly doesn't pour or drip; it stays where you put it. It absorbs well into the skin, leaving it soft and not greasy.

The scent of this lube invokes images of being surrounded by a dozen bikers decked out, head to toe, in leather. It really is a strong smell so if you are not a lover of leather, you'll probably tire of this lube quickly.

My preference is lubes with at least a little silicone in them for anal use. This is the first petroleum-based lube I've used for anal play and it certainly held up well enough. It felt very different from my preferred silicone lube, but it lasted long enough to get the job done without needed additional lube.

From a functional point of view, this lube works fine and if you are a fan of the smell of leather it should appeal to you as well. However, given the fact that it is derived from petroleum products and contains parabens means I won't be using it regularly and anybody who seeks to avoid these ingredients will likely want to pass on this product.
