This is a great basic lube - nothing fancy, but completely functional. I especially love the 1oz size because the bottle is small, portable, and the perfect amount for an extended play session. After I finished the 1oz size I just kept the bottle and refilled it with my favorite JO lube. I just slip this in my purse before a date. The agape lube works great for all purposes. I've used it with anal toys and it works well, but I usually prefer something a little thicker. It's perfect for use with toys because it's water-based! If you want a great, basic lube in a convenient bottle, definitely buy this.

This lube is pretty slippery, in a good way. I wouldn't describe the texture as velvety, but it is very smooth. It pours easily and stays in place nicely during play without too much drying. It is not a very thick lube, but it is the perfect consistency for most sexual needs. I especially like that there is no sticky residue as with other water-based lubes (especially Astroglide).

There is virtually no smell which I appreciate. However, the taste is rather bad. I would compare it to the taste of Astroglide, though it doesn't make your tongue slightly tingly like Astroglide. Because of the taste, I make sure to wipe off the lube before oral, or else it is rather unpleasant.

This lube is great because it is long lasting and leaves no sticky or greasy residue so clean up is a breeze. JO lube is just about the best lube out there. It's my go-to. A few drops are enough; there's no need to pour it all over. I love this lube at it has gotten great reviews from my partners as well.
