JO Agape personal Lube.

The Jo Agape is just like any normal water based lube. The only difference is that this product is directed to women. This lube gives you the water based freedom with silicone texture. It's perfect for anyone in just about any situation. You can use it for solo toy play. You can also use it with your favorite partner. You don't have to worry about jumping in the shower to clean up. You can just take a cloth and wipe yourself down.

Use

The System JO Agape is directed toward women more than it is to men, but men can use it too. This product is perfect for anyone. It doesn't matter if you are new to lube or have tried every lube on the market. Because it's water based, it can be used with any toy of your choosing. This is perfect for solo use or during sexual intercourse. JO Agape is perfect for both vaginal and light anal play.

This lube does contain parabens. Perabens can be linked to breast cancer in women. I would caution against using this lube if this is something you do worry about. The JO Agape does have a natural feeling, so you won't be feeling caked up. Parabens are the most widely used preservatives in personal care products. They stop fungus, bacteria, and other microbes from growing in your favorite creams and makeup.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The JO Agape is thicker than I would have expected. It has a silicone-like thickness, but it's water based. This is perfect for those who love the silicone lube texture but don't like that you can't use it with all of your toys. The lube is thick and feels wonderful in your fingers. It almost has a silky type of texture to it. The JO Agape isn't runny like most water based lubes.

When putting it on, you don't have to worry about it running down your body like most water based lubes would. When placed on the back of my hand and with my hand tilted, it took about a good 90 seconds for it to get to the middle of my hand. I love lube that can stay in place without worry. The JO Agape does leave the skin feeling soft and luxurious after use.

The JO Agape is very easy to pour out of the bottle even though it comes with a pump top. When pouring it out of the bottle, you just need to tilt it just a little bit and the lube will slowly pour out of the bottle. It doesn't just pour out of the bottle like pouring water from a bottle. It pours out of the bottle pretty slow.

Taste / Aroma

The JO Agape isn't meant to be used during oral sex. It does have a taste, but it isn't something you would want to taste all the time. The taste is very subtle and odd tasting. I don't know how to explain how it tastes. JO Agape's smell is almost nonexistent. When you pour it on the skin, it actually doesn't have a smell. If you're the type who is sensitive to smells then this would be perfect for you because it doesn't have a smell.

Performance

A little gets you a long way with this lube. This lube doesn't need to be globed on in order to enjoy it. You just need a few little pumps, and it will last a good about of time. When using it during masturbation with your fingers or with a toy, you most likely won't have to reapply it. I did notice that during penetrative sex you may need to apply it once or twice depending on how long your sessions are and how intense they are.

When it comes to cleaning, it's very easy and doesn't require much work. For light solo play, you can just use a dry cloth and wipe it off without extra work. When using a larger amount, you may need to use a wet cloth to get all the lube off. You won't need to jump into the shower which is a major plus. When the lube does dry up, it doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky or leave a gross residue. It also doesn't ruin your clothing or your bedding.

Packaging

The JO Agape lube doesn't come inside of any real package. When opening the shipping box, it does sit inside of a clear plastic bag that EF put it in so that it doesn't get all over the other things in your order. The lube does come wrapped inside of a protective seal. If that seal is broken, I wouldn't recommend using it. The size of this lube is perfect for travel. It doesn't take up too much room and fits nicely inside of just about any bag.

The JO Agape has a pump top dispenser that allows you to pump out about a dime sized amount with one pump. The dispenser also has a plastic cap that covers the pump top so that it doesn't accidentally pour out. The plastic cap can break if not taken care of, so be sure to be careful with the top. The container isn't leaky, so you don't have to worry about putting it with other items.

Personal comments

The JO Agape does have a list of ingredients, so I'd recommend doing a spot test before applying it to your vaginal area. You should put a small amount on your inner wrist and wait to see if there is a reaction. If you have a reaction to it, that lets you know not to use it. If you don't show any signs right away but discover discomfort somewhere down the line, I'd recommend discontinuing use.

Ingredients are as followed:
Methylparaben
Propylene glycol
Propyl Paraben
Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose
Purified Water

Experience

The JO Agape lube is completely clear. When using it on maybe a white surface, you don't have to worry about it leaving any signs. When it comes to using this lube, I'd recommend it more toward vaginal use than anal use. It would be a good anal lube if you’re using it for light play and not heavy anal action.

I'm some of the lucky few that don’t have a problem with parabens. I'm glad that I don't have a problem with them because it would limit what I can and cannot use. I've used the lube for almost every day for about 5 days in a row, and I haven't come into contact with any type of discomfort. I haven't had any irritation or allergic breakouts. This is the type of lube that I would buy if and when I do run out of this bottle.

My fiancé, on the other hand, wasn't too crazy about this lube. I sometimes worry about trying new lubes with him only because he seems to be more sensitive to things than I am. He didn't have any type of reaction from it, nor did it cause him any type of pain. He just thought it felt too thin during sex. He kept asking me to reapply it. It didn't feel thin to me because I had used it a couple of times before during masturbation. I thina it's because he has become used to using silicone and our number one favorite Maximus lube, and he's now spoiled. This is more my lube now then it is his.

When this lube is drying, it actually dries pretty nicely. It doesn’t glob up or flake, and I love that. I've used lubes that when we were done I'd look like I was shedding skin from my girly areas. That can be a pain in the behind. With the JO Agape it just evaporates into your skin as if it were lotion without a sticky after effect.

thanks for sharing This was an awesome review. I knew that Perabens caused cancer but i never knew it was an antibacterial for makeup ect.. That is nice to know. Also I will have to add this to my wish list it seems like a nice product.
