I own enough lubes and gels to drown a person. Seriously. And Pure Passion Gel by Lifestyle Ventures is one of the closest products I have found to being a true arousal gel.

The gel manages to provide both warming and cooling sensations within a session. The instructions for use are to apply two pumps of the gel to the clitoral area and massage it in for at least three minutes. I am always a bit dubious about products that instruct you to massage the product in for minutes--I mean, who WOULD NOT get aroused having her clit stroked for 3 minutes?! But Pure Passion is different. An incredibly intense cooling sensation takes effect almost immediately. I found this cooling to be very arousing, but it was so cold it was just on the edge of burning. Just on the edge, though--the feeling was really quite incredible.

The warming sensation picks up when the cooling sensation starts to die down after quite some time, and is not nearly as intense as the cooling. The warming sensation is especially pronounced if something warm--like your partner’s tongue--is introduced to the area. This provides a more intense and very enjoyable warming sensation that highly enhances oral sex without becoming too hot like some warming lubes.

The bottle is quite tiny, but you really do not need much of this gel to see very noticeable results. Because of the tiny quantity and its tendency to absorb into the skin, I would not recommend this as a lubricant. However, in my case, at least, the sensations caused by the gel greatly enhanced my natural lubrication. We bought the Sex On the Beach flavor, which really tastes like the drink, down to a slightly alcoholic flavor. The cooling sensation affects your mouth and throat, as well, but is not unpleasant. The product comes in a pump dispenser that keeps things neat; however, the trigger on the pump is not smooth and I found it impossible to pump out just a tiny bit at a time.

I believe the product is water-based, so can be used with a variety of toys. I found it absorbed nicely into my skin, and any slight residue wiped off easily with a damp cloth. It never became sticky or uncomfortable.

This product performs exceptionally well with glass or stainless steel dildos due to the intense cooling properties.
