In the end, this is a wonderful product if you just want something to make head a little sweeter but not worth it if you're looking for a real lube.

Use

I must say that I enjoy ID Juicy Lube. For somethings, it's quite nice. I don't, however, think that it works well to actually lubricate anything. If you enjoy giving blow-jobs, it's nice. I picked up a little 3oz tube of Wild Cherry at the local sex shop just to try it out. When I opened it, I found that it was really really watery. It was hardly any different from normal water, texture-wise, as far as I was concerned. I was just rubbing it between two fingers at this point, but I wasn't impressed. I tasted it, and it was something like cherry cough medicine. It wasn't bad, and I actually sort of enjoyed it in small doses. It works great if you like to give a bit of flavored head, but I found that, when using it as an actual lubricant, I needed to apply it too many times for me to enjoy the session. To sum it all up, it tastes good, but it's thin.

I found that this lubricant was very watery. It pooled up in my hand but ran like water. It was interesting to watch it run through my fingers, but this was not a desired trait. As it dries, it gets a bit sticky like sugar-water. I definitely felt the need to wash up when I was done.

Taste / Aroma

This tasted a lot like cherry cough syrup. In a small amount, it was manageable, but if you use too much, the taste is overwhelming, and it made me want to give up and clean up. The smell wasn't too bad; it was not strong at all.

Performance

For me, this didn't last long enough for a lube at all. Every few minutes, it seemed like I was re-applying it. As it dried, it got a bit sticky and uncomfortable. I needed to wash it off, and luckily, it comes off fairly easily with water. I loved the way it tasted, but I wasn't so big on the thickness (or lack there of) or the length of time it lasted.

Packaging

I purchased it from an adult novelty store in town. It came in a nice, easy-to-squeeze tube with a small hole in one end. The woman behind the counter put it in a little black bag and sent me on my way. It was all very simple, but I believe that when walking out of an adult toy store, discreet isn't really something you need to worry about.

I'm still using the same little tube I bought ages ago. Usually I don't bother with it since taste has never been an issue for me with blowjobs. It still tastes like cough medicine and it's still runny. I think I guess it would be more fun/interesting if I cared about the taste during a BJ, and it could be nice if you are bothered by it, but I'm not. I really don't think I'll be buying it again in the future.

We have had similar experiences with flavored lubes. We only use them for BJs. They don't go anywhere near my wifes hyper-sensitive girly parts. Welcome to Eden.

Thank you guys, and yeah, I think I'm going to be looking for a much thicker lube without the flavoring next time. It felt too much like candy that was sucked on, then rubbed on my skin towards the end.

  • Love all the flavors!
    • Can anyone who has tried a few recommend one?
    • I have tried the watermelon and one more, but cant remember of the top of my head which one it was. I did not like either one. They were way too sticky and dried up too fast for work for anything. I would go with the JO H2O flavored ones. I have not had a problem with those ones drying up or getting sticky.
    • I have been told that the cherry flavor is pretty good. I may order it once it comes back in stock.

    • JO makes a great flavored lube. I have tried the peach and it is great. The reviews for the other flavors are all pretty good also.
    • JO is good, and ID is pretty good too. They've both got glycerin and other things that might cause yeast infections or UTI's if you're prone to them, and both seem to have a bit of a diet aftertaste to them.
