Minty Fresh!!
This minty fresh lubricant gel is great for any kind of play you can imagine. It doesn't burn like many cooling and tingling lubes do. Tastes great, smells great, feels great.Published: July 29, 2011

Wet Synergy is a hybrid lubricant, combining water and silicone based lubes for the best of both. (This does mean you “shouldn’t use this with your silicone toys”, but we did, and they’re still intact. So are we. More on this later.)
This “tingle” lubricant was no such thing. It was definitely COOLING, and had a great minty fresh smell, a lot like toothpaste. The cooling, however, wasn’t an ‘icy-hot’ feeling like so many cooling lubes have. It was really COOL. The ingredients include peppermint, and I’m guessing that’s the secret – peppermint, not menthol, which DOES burn. The cooling sensation is apparent upon contact, and becomes more so with blowing or breathing on it.
Wet Synergy +Cool Tingle is thick and rich; it doesn’t run or drip. As a matter of fact, it's nearly a gel, but it 'melts' quickly with any friction. It is in reality a water-based gel, with 10% silicone solution added. Their website says the following about silicone toy compatibility:
Can Wet® Synergy™ be used with silicone toys?
Wet® Synergy™ has been tested on various qualities of silicone toys without any adverse effects. To be sure, we recommend conducting a small patch test on your toys prior to use to determine if there is any risk of the silicone in Wet® Synergy™ reacting to the silicone content in your favorite toy. As with any formula, we recommend washing your toys immediately after play.
As I said, we used this with our silicone toys and have seen no problems.
The bottle is slim and modern with VERY FINE PRINT in several languages about the product. It's SUCH FINE PRINT that I can't read it! The screw on cap features a flip-disc top for dispensing. You will need to squeeze the bottle to dispense. This stuff is thick! The flip-disc lid doesn't leak, but can be hard to operate with slippery hands.
The best part, though, is the taste! This lube tastes like minty-fresh mouthwash, or even doublemint gum.
Overall, this was a wonderful lubricant for toy play, his and hers handjobs, oral sex, and intercourse. It was minty fresh, non-drippy, non-staining, tastes great, smells great, doesn’t burn, and at about $7 for a 1.9 ounce bottle, it’s a good buy, too. This does contain glycerin, so if that's a concern for you, this isn't the lube for you.

I still like this. A lot. It's cooling, but it doesn't burn like some 'tingle' lubes. It's thick, long lasting, non-sticky, and tastes good!

What is your favorite lube? Brands, bases, etc?

I use water-based lube almost exclusively, since so many of my toys are silicone. :) I used to really love System JO H2O, and still do, but lately I've been feeling that Sliquid H2O is the best for me. It dries up a bit faster, but JO dries a little bit sticky (dunno if I'm just noticing it more or whatever), while Sliquid doesn't. Plus, Sliquid lubes are very body-safe, while JO has glycerin and a ton of parabens.
Sliquid still can't top JO when it comes to flavored lubes, though. :D -
Mine's Liquid Silk. I've used a couple different brands, and I keep going back to it. I'll buy some Maximus eventually, since Liquid Silk isn't as great for anal play, but I'll probably always have a bottle of Liquid Silk on hand.
I prefer water-based, too, partly because of my silicone toys and partly because silicone lubes are so much harder to clean up. But I am on the hunt for a good silicone lube to use in the shower (I have mastered wrapping most of my toys in condoms to keep them safe.) Heard good things about Pink and Toko, but haven't tried either yet.
