What I like best, and I've tried many lubricants!
This is a good product for both its quality and its principles. Making sex a worry-free and guilt-free experience is all part of the experience, and that's what gets me so excited about this lube. I don't think I'll buy another lube again for a long, long time.Published: July 22, 2008

My favorite quality of this lube is that I feel good about it. I feel good about the company, I feel good using it in my body, and it really does have a good feel to it!
I first got to experience "Good Clean Love" with some free samples I got at a conference. The tag-line, "Making love sustainable" was just about all I needed to fall in love with it. The sample I got was in cardboard packaging made of post-consumer material, which just made me swoon. I'm a dork for reading labels and checking packaging, so if you find yourself ever doing that, this will be the right lube for you. OK, so I didn't understand every word I read on the ingredients list, but many more of the made sense than most of the others I've tried. I use the "Almost Naked" variety because I get worried about sugars near my cooch (read: yeast infections!) but its actually got a pleasantly sweet smell and flavor. I think its got a hint of vanilla in it. Have you ever gone down on someone after using lube, and gotten a mouthful of nasty, chemical taste? YOU know what I'm talking about...
Well say good-bye to that with Almost Naked, it doesn't mask you're partners' lovely natural flavor.
It is a bit thick, but I like that. There's nothing worse than loosing a puddle of lube to your bedsheets instead of getting it where it needs to be because its too thin. If you're looking for the viscosity of water, look elsewhere. This is more like hair gel. As far as stickiness factor: my partner said she thought it was sticky, but I've used lubes that get sticky much quicker. It also is water-based, so safe with silicone toys.
Again, the thing I really love most about this lube is that I feel good about using it... no worries about what's going into my body, no worries about wasting non-recyclable plastic packaging, and no worries about feeding profit-hungry greedy corporations! I really feel that as consumers, making responsible choices about the products we buy really has the power to make our world better. Ok, and that just gets me hot!

Experience
I will add that I will probably keep a silicone lube around for "emergencies" (when I'm particularly dry) and longer sessions, but Almost Naked will be my product of choice.

I love lavender..how is the fragrance on this? Also, I've never used "natural" lubricants but feel it'd be just the same, if not better. Any thoughts?

I love reading labels! I have also noticed discrepancies sometimes in what I recieved and what was advertised. Sometimes this is good and sometimes it's bad. Thanks for the review!

Does it dry up quickly for you? That seems to be a common complaint about this lube.
I have to say that it lasts ok for me. I'm also the type of person who uses lube in the beginning of sex play and my body usually serves me well from there, so maybe I've haven't put it through its paces....that's why I'd also recommend having some silicone-based lube around too for longer sessions or if you require it to last.
So it tastes like vanilla? It's not bitter at all?
It has a "hint" of vanilla taste (pretty subtle) but no, not bitter in the least.
