ID juicy lubricant - water based lube by I-D Lubricants - review by eeep

ID Juicy Lube is a water-based lube so it is safe for all toy materials and latex. It comes in a bunch of different flavors, but I have only tried the Bubblegum one. As a lube it had a gel-like consistency, decent staying power, and I have never had to reapply. The scent is very pleasing and fun and is a stronger scent, but not overpowering. The taste is good, but does have a bit of a fake sugar taste (due to the aspartame in it). It tasted and smelled a lot like your typical sugar-free bubblegum, which I love as a flavor. The pump bottle makes it easy for dispensing, but it is also easy to make a mess by accidentally pushing the pump. The bottle is very cute and vibrant, but not at all discreet.



While I do enjoy the scent and flavor of this lube, it got a low rating due to how messy it is. It got tacky as it dried, and did not absorb into my skin. It also was very sticky! I needed to wash it off with soap and water after use to get rid of all the stickiness, and a shower is not always at the top of my list of things to do immediately after sex or solo play. The stickiness definitely made cuddling afterwards uncomfortable. My other complaint about this lube is that it contains glycerin, parabens, and aspartame; which can cause problems for people with sensitive skin or those prone to yeast infections. I have sensitive skin and was happy that it did not cause any bad reactions for me (aside from the stickiness).



Overall it is an okay lube. For something fun that tastes and smells good it works well; just be aware that you are probably going to need to shower afterwards.
