Bedroom bordello bra and garter set - bra and panty set discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by souviet

This was bought for me as part of an anniversary gift from my girlfriend. She had me pick it out, and I spent a rather long and extended amount of time going through everything on the site to finally settle on it. It's harder finding things for me, as I am kind of fat. (I picked something that didn't look like it would be bad and hoped for the best.)

This was a very strange outfit from essentially the get-go. The design, even on the model, seems a little convoluted, especially with the strange extra bits all up in there. I'm particularly confused by the need for the designer to add the extra halter-top, in addition to the straps. Frankly, they're useless and the cords are kind of awkward to tie. The halter does nothing to help as far as support goes. It proved difficult for me to even tie it as I had to do some silly moves in order to flip my hair out of the way and then tie it at the same bloody time. I am not some kind of amazing contortionist, so I found this very difficult to pull off. Particularly when considering that my hair falls to near the middle of my back.

Another issue I found is how long the straps on the garter are. I fixed them to be as short as I could make them (while the garter was pretty much at my natural waist). Even then, they were still long enough to nearly hit my knee. I have no idea why this is happened as I always see myself as rather average height (5'4"). I can only presume that the designers created it with the assumption that people much taller than I am would buy it.

Aside from a few strange design errors, the entire set is rather nice. The fabric isn't rough or scratchy, and the bra does a mostly decent job of holding up my chest (and I'm rather busty 38DD). While the halter doesn't do much to help, the normal straps do a decent job. I only say decent because there is an awkward sag in there, probably due to the fabric being used - something similar to thin bathing suit material. There is a ton of stretch but it’s not very stiff.

Overall, the outfit is rather flattering after I adapted and adjusted the entire thing to better suit my needs. I suspect that I may have to find much shorter stockings as well, although I wanted to avoid that. However, my girlfriend seems to enjoy it immensely. In the end, that's all that really and truly counts to me.

I'm still kind of on the fence with this. It's still got some issues with the garter belt and halter, but it's just so darned attractive!
