The Bedroom Bordello Bra and Garter Set by Fantasy Lingerie is available in sizes S, M, L, 1X, 2X, and 3X. I wear a size XL so I had to choose between the size large and 1X. I assumed that the cups on the 1X would be too baggy on my chest so I opted for the size large.

The set arrived on a plastic hanger, covered with a plastic baggy. There was no text or photos on the bag. There was a cardboard tag attached to the set that stated the company name, company website, product name, colour, and size. The hanger that the set arrives on is great to use for storing the outfit when it’s not being worn. The outfit could also be folded and put in a drawer.



The set includes 3 pieces: the bra, the garter belt, and the underwear. The outfit is 92% polyester and 8% spandex. All three pieces in the set have quite a bit of stretch to them. The included panty is sheer. The bra and garter belt are not sheer when worn, and do not become sheer the more they are stretched. I’ve taken measurements of the outfit laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, please let me know and I will get them for you.

The bra has hook and eye closures at the centre back. There are 3 rows of eyes, with 2 in each row. There is a ½ in space between each row. The bra is the wet-look material that is similar to the wet-look skirt I had reviewed. The only part of the bra that is not the wet-look material is the cups. The cups are a soft, thin material with a floral pattern to them. The cups do not have any padding in them but they do have underwire.



There is a black mesh ruffle trim along the top of the cups. The trim is approximately ¾ of an inch in length. This ruffle trim is also on the shoulder straps, but not the entire strap. The ruffle trims on the shoulder straps begin 3 ¼ inches from the cup (up the strap) and the trim goes along the strap for 6 ¾ inches. The shoulder straps are adjustable but they are not detachable.

At the centre of the bra between the cups, there is a large bow made of ribbon. At the top centre of the bow, there are 2 thin straps. These straps tie behind then neck. Neither the bow nor the straps are detachable. After looking at the back of the bow and straps, I think that they could be detached permanently if you were very careful. I personally like the extra straps and bow so I won’t be attempting to remove them.

The garter belt is the same patterned material that the cups are. The material is thin and stretchy. There is also an elastic band around the top of the garter belt that provides even more stretch for the wearer if needed. The garter belt has hook and eye closures at the centre back of the piece. There are 2 rows of eyes, with 3 eyes in each row. The distance between the two rows is ¾ of an inch.



There are four garter straps to the garter belt. The straps are adjustable in length but they are not detachable. The garter clips at the bottom of each strap is a plastic piece with a rubber backing. The set does not include thigh highs so you will need to already own a pair of purchase a pair to wear with the set. The garter belt has the same ruffle trim as the bra. The ruffle trim is on the top and bottom of the garter belt and continues to the back of the piece.

The included panty is adorable! The panty is all black in colour and is a mesh material. The panty is not a thong or g-string, which is nice because a lot of sets that are offered just come with a black, basic g-string. This panty covers your bum. The panty is sheer and has an elastic waistband. There is ruffle trim around the leg holes of the panty. There is also a lining in the crotch area of the panty (see measurements above).



When I put on the outfit, it was fairly easy because of the stretchiness. I did the hook and eye closures to the garter belt up at the front of my body, and then turned it around to the back once it was closed. I did the same thing with the bra as well. The bra fit my C cups well. With the stretch to the material in the cups, I assume that a size larger than me would be able to fit as well (nothing more though).

I love the way the bra and garter belt look on me but the panty did not fit me. It was too tight. When I put the panty on, the ruffle trim didn’t look ruffled anymore because I needed to stretch them so much. Also, I have a pretty big bum and the back of the panty didn’t really cover my entire bum (it sat a bit beneath the top of my bum crack). I’m not terribly disappointed in this because I have another pair of underwear that I can wear with the outfit.

The material is soft and comfortable when worn. The ruffle trim is non-irritating to the skin because it’s a soft mesh. I have no complaints of skin irritation while wearing the set. The care tag states that the outfit can be machine washed in warm water on gentle. The outfit can be tumble dried on low, should be removed promptly, and should not be wrung or twisted. I’d recommend putting the outfit in a lingerie bag before putting it in the washing machine.

I’ve given the set a 4 out of 5 because the only issues I had with the outfit is that the panty didn’t fit me. This is my own fault though because I wear an XL but ordered the size large because there was no size XL offered. The reason I had deducted a star is because of how thin the material is. I didn't expect the material to be so thin, especially the cups.
