Lace top stockings with backseam - stockings discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by kkizzee05

I'm a stocking kind of girl and love long stockings that are girly and lacy, so I thought I'd give these a try. They were only $3.99 so I couldn't complain. They come in a very regular tights or stocking box, and were ready to try on. They are really thin and stretchy, and they are super cute. My only complaint is that they don't really stay up while I am wearing them around. One size is supposed to fit most, and the stockings are snug so I don't know why they don't stay up on their own, but I guess I'll just wear them with garters. If a person has bigger thighs, I would suggest getting a different pair of stockings. These were pretty tight on me and I have very average sized thighs. I wear a size 3 in jeans and the thighs always fit perfectly, if that helps at all. The snug fit could be uncomfortable for bigger thighs and would probably cut into the skin, so I would definitely get a bigger size or a different style than the lace on the top. I really do love how they look with the lace and the back seam. My boyfriend thinks that they are sexy, and I do too.

I'm worried about washing them, the package says to hand wash only and to let drip dry. Again, I own a few pairs similar to this, so hand washing is not a big issue, but I caught my fingernail on the side of the stocking and created an extremely tiny run. That sucks, but it was my own fault, and runs happen with every pair of stockings or tights. The run is basically on the top so it won't be seen anyways, but I suggest taking really good care of these or they will get damaged very easily because these are 100% Nylon, and the lace is 84% nylon and 16% Spandex.

These are certainly not the most sturdy, but they are only about $4 so it was to be expected. Also, on the box it says "one size fits most, 90-160 Lbs." I weigh about 113 so I thought these would be able to stay up, but I was wrong.

The stockings do feel nice on my skin as well. They are not itchy at all and are soft. They add that finishing touch to a night out, a night in, or really anything and any occasion. Again, I would strongly suggest a garter belt so that these don't work their way down your legs when you are strutting your stuff. How embarrassing, right? Right. So remember, they are cute, but damageable and tend to slide down, so be prepared.
