Lace top stockings with backseam - hosiery by Leg Avenue - review by BlackCherry

These stockings are sheer and sexy! I loved wearing them with a dress and even my date commented on how good they looked. There's something about a back seam that makes them stand out from other, regular stockings. The material held up pretty well. I've been able to wear it a few times without runs now, which is surprisingly good since all my stockings seem to tear the first time I wear them. Like all nylons, however, you should take care to keep it away from sharp/pointy objects, including rough fingernails, as they can snag and put a hole in your lovely stockings.

The feel of the silky smooth fabric against your skin is a real treat. I couldn't help but run my hand down my leg a few times throughout the night, just to see how soft it was AND to feel how soft it was on my thigh. The lace at the top is also a bit of a fun peak to show your partner to get them excited about the rest of the night. It's not necessarily a sex item, as you can certainly wear it in many situations. It is a great wardrobe piece with a lot of uses.

The only downside is that if you're a bit on the skinny side, like me, the lace tops aren't enough to keep the stockings up on your legs and you'll need a garter to keep them up. (Otherwise, they'll keep falling down throughout the night, which isn't fun.) The lace does tend to get stretched out after a few wears, so it's not going to stay up on its own forever. Matching it with a garter, however, and it should do just fine to last a good while. Just something to think about if you're a bit on the smaller side!

Unfortunately, after wearing them decently often for over a month and a half, they finally got a run that was too large to ignore. However, given the price, this was only to be expected and I'm a little surprised they lived so long! I plan on ordering another pair or two for myself, now that they're back in stock.
