Sexy and Elegant

I have lusted after a dress like this for several months, so when I saw this dress I knew that I had to try it. This dress is sexy, breathable and comfortable in person. That being said, it's a bit revealing, due to the lace back. It's also extremely difficult to wear a bra with, so there's not really anyway to support the girls while wearing this.

Still, it's sexy and elegant. Even though mine arrived damaged, this is a good buy.

extremely useful review
I added this to my cart on a whim, along with a few other of Coquette's new wetlook dresses. This dress is sexy and elegant, but it's not my favorite one. Still, it makes me feel incredibly sexy, and I love that it combines the elegance of lace with the sexy wetlook material.

That being said, I think I would like this better if mine didn't arrive slightly damaged. You see, mine arrived with a little hole right at the armpit seam. I think I'm going to be able to sew it, so I'm not too concerned. The fact that mine arrived damaged does have me questioning the quality control, though.

Basics:
This beautiful dress is made by Coquette. It's available only in black, and it only includes the one piece.

Material & Care:
The tag states that the dress is made out of 80% Nylon and 20% Spandex.

Half of the dress consists of a beautiful, black floral lace, whereas the rest of the dress consists of the black wetlook material.

The lace portion of the dress is obviously sheer. Almost the entire back of the dress is made out of lace, so wearing a bra with this dress isn't really an option, unless you have a special kind of bra.

The lace is delicate, as most lace is, but it also feels sturdy. The lace also feels soft against my skin; it doesn't itch at all.

The wetlook material has a shine to it, which looks great with the matte black lace. The wetlook material is opaque in nature, so all of your private bits will be kept covered; this makes it suitable to wear the dress out in public, if you dare. The wetlook material is surprisingly soft and flexible. I was expecting it to feel stiff and suffocating, but I can actually move in this dress without feeling restricted. Also, the dress is surprisingly breathable.

The inside of the dress is a bit softer than the outside, so you don't need to worry about it sticking to your skin.

To care for this dress, you're going to want to hand wash it, and then hang it to dry. The material is a little delicate, so I wouldn't risk putting it in the dryer.

Sizing:
This dress is available in four different sizes: small, medium, large, and extra large. I took a gamble and won when I purchased the large.

According to Coquette's size chart, a large should fit someone who fits into the following measurements:
Cups: C
Bust: 38-40"
Waist: 30-32"
Hips: 40-42"

I wear a 34d bra (most of the time), and have a 32" waist. My hips measure 40". This dress fits me perfectly.

I believe that this dress could fit someone with larger breasts than myself, however you should be aware that this dress doesn't offer support... and that it's very difficult to wear a bra with this. I also feel that this dress can fit the upper end of the size chart just fine.

Another thing that you should be aware of is the length of this dress. I'm 5'6", and this dress does cover my butt just fine. It's long enough that I can wear it out in public without feeling like I'm going to flash my ass to the world. That being said, if you're much taller, you're going to need to pair this dress with opaque tights or leggings.

Design:
This dress is sexy, but it seems pretty shapeless. I mean, it all just sort of...hangs. Still, it looks nice. On me, the dress hugs my curves, but that is only because I fill it out. If you're a little smaller than me, this dress is likely just going to hang on you. It'll probably still look good, but it'll look a tad shapeless.

The lace portion of the babydoll begins right above the wearers breast, and the continues down the arms. The lace also extends all the way to the back, where it goes all the way down to right above the wears butt. The rest of the dress is the wetlook material. I adore how the wetlook material looks right around the bust. It's cut in a way that really helps to accent cleavage, and I think that it's truly sexy.

This dress doesn't offer any bust support, and it's difficult to wear a bra with it. So, if you require bust support, you might want to look at another dress.

This long-sleeved dress has no closures. It's simply one piece that you slip over your head to get it on and off. The piece is stretchy, so slipping it on is easy.
Experience
Packaging:
The packaging for this was very simple. It arrived hanging on a plastic hanger, and covered in a plastic bag. I would've loved to have seen this hanging on one of Coquette's padded hangers, but I didn't buy it for the hanger, so... no big deal.

Quality:
The quality feels okay, but mine arrived damaged. I just don't feel like the sewing was done as well as it should've been. There is a chance, however, that I've just had rotten luck.
Follow-up commentary
I did have to sew this piece where the seams were broken, but it wasn't difficult to do. The dress is as good as new now, and I feel incredibly sexy in it. I love it!
