Luxurious bra with garterbelt and g-string - bra, panty and garter belt set by Coquette - review by FAM4LIFE

There are three things I need from my lingerie; comfort, quality and sexiness. It's rare that I am satisfied in every realm, but Coquette's bra and garter belt set is just perfect. This set comes in a surprisingly compact box which would be great for gift giving. The color is simply striking. A bright red material is combined with black lace giving an overall dark, rich look to the whole piece. I really don't like wearing bright colors, but this appears as a deep red and isn't at all overwhelming. Beyond the color, this piece has an immense amount of detail! Black ruffled edging and black satin bows adorn the bra and garter belt. The G-string is a simple black that complements the outfit without overdoing it. Neither boring nor gaudy, the appearance is just right.

I liked the way everything looked, but now came the real test. I am a snob when it comes to comfortable lingerie. The littlest scratch, itch or prominent seam can be really distracting and make me hate wearing the set. I'm also a fan of hiding my sexy lingerie under my normal clothes, and comfort is a must when it comes to this feat! I tried on the bra first. The cups are both supportive and comfortable, and the nylon-spandex blend used for the sides and trim feels amazingly smooth. It has a bit of a stretch to it but it's still very supportive. The straps feature a ruffled decoration, which was not the least bit scratchy. I wore this bra around the house for a while and it honestly felt more comfortable than most of my regular bras! The only downside is that the ruffled straps have a little too much volume, making it less discreet for wearing beneath regular clothing. It's too bad because I would gladly wear this bra every day!

Next came the garter belt. This is my very first, so I was excited to see how it felt. I really liked the idea of being able to keep it on during sex, with the G-string removed. The very same nylon/spandex blend featured in the bra also complements most of the garter belt, making it smooth, soft, stretchy and undeniably comfortable! I slipped the G-string on underneath, and this too was made of the same sensational material. This set does not come with hosiery, so I ordered a pair of Leg Avenue's black lace-top thigh-highs to complete the outfit. The garter belt attaches with ease, and the little ribbons near the clips look incredibly cute and classy. The garter belt has a sexy lace-up back, which I left intact. The ribbons seemed a bit long and looked kind of silly, but I knew this was done for ease of tightening by oneself. I personally don't need to loosen the lacing, so I plan on cutting the ribbons shorter. It took some adjusting to get the garter belt looking just right and in the end it felt great!

Now I had to see how the lingerie looked. I ordered a size Medium because this seemed to be the best fit based on Coquette's size chart. I wear a 36B, have a 27" waist and 38" hips, so the Medium fit me perfectly. I would definitely base your purchase on the size chart. The piece is a bit stretchy, but might look unflattering and feel uncomfortable with too much stretch. I would say that it is very true to size. However, I'm a little on the short side (5'3" on a good day) and had to tighten the garter belt straps all the way to make it work with my legs.

When I was happy with the fit and look I positioned myself on the bed (taking some pointers from the model on the box) and called in my partner. I felt sexy, classy AND comfortable. Needless to say, this Coquette lingerie surely passed the final test, occupying the both of us for the remainder of the evening.
