Zebra microfiber g-string with lace trim - sexy panties by Baci - review by Breas

The zebra print g-string by Baci is available in only sizes small and large. I usually wear a size XL in clothing, and size L in panties. Sometimes I have to wear a size XL in panties if they are made small, or do not have any stretch to them. I ordered the zebra print g-string in size large.

The panties arrived in a thin cardboard package. The front of the packaging has a photo of a model wearing the g-string and has the company website underneath. The back of the packaging has a back view of the model, states the product name, size, material composition, and care instructions. While the packaging is attractive, I don’t keep it for storing the panties in. I just toss my panties in my underwear drawer. The packaging can be recycled.



Inside of the cardboard packaging, the g-string is laying (sort of crumpled) against a piece of cardboard, surrounded by plastic. The inside packaging is also not something I would consider ideal storage.

What really drew me to the g-string was the zebra print, combined with the baby blue colour. I’m a huge fan of animal print, especially zebra. When I had pulled the g-string out of the packaging, I noticed that the baby blue was actually much brighter than in the stock photo. I really like the actual blue colour of the real product, rather than the light blue in the stock photo.



The first thing I did when taking the panties out of the package was stretch them. Unstretched, the waistband is approximately 13 inches. When I stretched the waistband as much as I could, it was approximately 25 inches. The g-string is made of 90% polyester and 10% spandex. Both the waistband and material that covers your front area is stretchy.

It’s important to note though that the waistband (or hip band if you prefer) has a ruffled look to it. The more you need to stretch the waistband, the less ruffled it will look. On me, the band still looks ruffled, so I suppose you have to be close to the maximum stretch capacity for the ruffle to look odd. Also, the waistband is thin and light. It does not cut into my hips creating the dreaded “muffin top”. Again, this could be an issue if you are closer to the maximum stretch capacity.

The material that covers your front area is 5 ¼ inches at its widest point (this includes the lace trim). I found that on my body, the front part of the g-string covered most of my front area, and I was satisfied with this. Many times I’ve received panties that only cover ½ of my front area, and it ends up looking like I bought a panty sized for a baby.



The lace trim around the zebra print material is ½ inch wide, and the waistband is ¾ inches. There is a lining in the g-string, though it is pretty tiny. The liner is approximately 2 ½ inches in length.

The quality of the g-string is decent. It’s thin, though it should last for a while as long as you take care of it. I personally don’t hold onto underwear for ages and ages. I tend to replace older panties with new ones fairly often so I wasn’t hoping that these would last a lifetime. For only $5.99, I’d say that I’m happy with the quality of the g-string.

The g-string material is very comfortable and soft against the skin. I purchased these for daily use and they are comfortable enough to be worn as so. You could wear these panties as a sexy lingerie addition in the bedroom as well (though I have matching sets for this, that is why I will just wear these as regular panties).

The g-string has a tag in the front of it. It is not uncomfortable when you’re wearing them but it can be cut out if you find it irritating. The care tag states that the g-string can be machine washed in warm water and tumble dried on low. Colours should be washed separately, it should not be ironed or dry cleaned, and only non-chlorine bleach should be used on the product.

Overall I am happy with my purchase. The g-string is inexpensive, and very attractive to the eye. The sizes offered seem odd (only small and large at the moment), but luckily I could fit into the size large. If you’re looking for a panty that will last forever, these probably aren’t the ones for you. Though, if you were looking for an affordable panty that is comfortable, stretchy, and is totally adorable, I’d recommend these in a second. If these panties were available in different coloured trim, I’d probably buy them all.

I still love my zebra print G-string! It's been thrown in the washer machine so many times and the print is still vibrant! The panty has held up quite well. I'm still very happy with them.
