Raspberry Fields gartered bustier - bustier discontinued by Coquette - review by XxFallenAngelxX

The Raspberry gartered bustier by Coquette, in 1X/2X arrived in a clear packaging that was sealed at one end with a sticky substance, this substance allows for resealing the bag, and storing the lingerie, when not in use. There are 2 tags that were pinned to the bustier. The first tag shows a model wearing the bustier. It also states the size, and material, and other helpful information.

The second tag talks about how Coquette has now teamed up to help with breast cancer. Buying this line of products helps with proceeds. This is a great cause. I just had a close friend, who is in her 20's, have both of her breasts removed. I really like that Coquette is helping out!







The main portion of the bustier is a raspberry color. It's also accented with several kinds of lace. The first is a solid ivory lace. The second is a ivory lace with light pink and raspberry colored flowers. The flowers have green leaves, and these flowers are only on the front middle portion of the bustier. Also, on the middle front, there is another type of ribbon lace. This is also ivory in color. This lace has an eyelet running through the middle of it. Inside the eyelet, there is a dark pink satin ribbon. This eyelet ribbon is on each side of the ivory flowered lace on the front, and it actually runs down into the garter. The middle panel is very stretchy.





The back of the bustier has 2 large ivory lace panels on each side of the hook & eye system. This is gorgeous, by the way! These panels are 4 3/4" wide. The lace used on this part of the bustier has a scalloped edge. The pattern in the lace is large flowers, and leaves.




The hook and eye system in the back, is sewn on to each side. The hooks and eyes appear to be sewn into a nylon material.
There are 3 rows of eyes and one row of hooks. There are 17 rows of each set. The full eye area is 1 1/4" wide. These look and feel like they are well made, and durable. I like to keep mine on the tightest fit.






There are 2 garters sewn into the front of the bustier. There are none on the back. As I mentioned above, these garters are part of the ribbon, in the front of the bustier. The eyelet ribbon hangs down from the bottom of the bustier, at least 3". At the 3" point, there is an elastic sewn into the lace ribbon. This elastic is adjustable.




I've included all the measurements below. This allows for you to use your own measurements, without having to read through the full review again.
The clips on the garters are metal, and they have an ivory color on them, and clear plastic. These clips held my thigh highs really well.
Where the eyelet ribbon and elastic meet, there is a dark pink satin bow. The bow is sewn on by a commercial sewing machine. It will be extremely difficult to remove it, without the elastic looking terrible.
As for the cups, They actually fit me. That's what I love about Coquette. These will fit a D cup to a F cup the best. The main part of the cups is the raspberry spandex type material. Running along the top of the cup, there is the same lace that was used on the back of the bustier, and they added in the thin, eyelet lace with the dark pink ribbon, that is on the front of the bustier. The cups look super sexy. In between each breast cup, there is a dark pink satin bow. It was made with 1/4" satin ribbon.



There is an extra thick padding at the bottom of the cups. It feels almost 1" thick, at the thickest part. This really gives massive amounts of cleavage. It will also help those with smaller breasts. This type of padding works good for any size breasts. The padding is only on the bottom 4" of the cups. It's also in an oval shape. The underwires hold up my large breast well. The inside of the cups aren't itchy, but they are black. They do support my breasts well. This is a halter style bustier, so this ties in the back of the neck, with strings that are the trim of the bustier, from each side of the breast cups. I will warn you now, if you have large, or heavy breasts, your neck will be a little sore if you tie it tightly. If worn for longer periods of time, this can cause strain on the neck.

The trim on the bustier is the same raspberry color as the main portion of material. The inside is a dark ivory color. There are 2 layers of different colored spandex on the torso portion of the bustier. There are also 6 plastic boning pieces included in the bustier. There are 2 plastic boning pieces on each side of the front floral panel. These two in the front are curved. They are meant to be this way. There are 2 on the side, and 2 near the back. They are flexible, and they bend well.





Inside the bustier, there is an elastic panel that runs lengthwise, across the whole width. The elastic band is 3/4". If you look closely in my photos, you will notice it. This helps to hold the boning in, since the fabric is so stretchy. It gives some shape while I'm wearing it.

The bustier didn't include any panties, but I purchased the matching ones here, and they matched perfectly. I've included a photo below.

The bustier is made from 90% nylon, and 10% spandex, exclusive of trim.


-Fit-

The bustier seems to fit like a 1X/2X. Here is the Coquette sizing chart.
It fits comfortable. It doesn't itch me, and it's not scratchy against my skin. I'm able to wear it for long periods of time. I adore this bustier. The garters fit great. I wear them on the shortest length because of my height.





The cups were a little close together, on my bustier. This may not be a problem for everyone else, but I wanted to put it out there, so it was known. It mainly just pushed my breasts together, and made even more cleavage.


-Partners View/Rating-

My partner absolutely loves the bustier on my body. He honestly couldn't keep his hands off of me while I was taking the photos. He gives it a 10.


-Care/Washing-

The care tag inside the bustier states to hand wash only, and hang to dry. Don't twist hard, or wring the delicate lace. It can rip, or get damaged. I haven't snagged any of the lace, yet. That's a good thing.



-Accessories-

I've added in the photos of what I wore with the Bustier. I purchased nude thigh highs with a lace top, and also some basic nude heels that my partner picked out for me. My partner loves for me to dress up for him, and he loves the total outfit.

I feel like a sex princess when I'm wearing this. It makes me feel like I'm locked away in a cottage with my lover. This is very flattering and will make a lot of people happy.
