Raspberry Fields gartered bustier - bustier discontinued by Coquette - review by Pete's Princess

Here is another review of another great lingerie piece by Coquette. This is a wonderful addition to my ever growing lingerie collection. It looks great on and the style is very slimming.

Design
The bustier is has two layers of thick stretchy fabric. It feels like bathing suit material. The inside has a pretty cream color and the outside is a mix of solid raspberry and lace. I'll start at the top of the front and work my way down.

Another reviewer noted that the cups were too close together, I do not believe this is the case. The bustier ties at the neck instead of having two straps. This design causes the breasts to be pulled up and in toward the center. The more common design causes them to be pulled up and out. Thus this bustier creates more cleavage as it brings your breasts together.

The cups are formed with thick padding. The padding on the lower half is much thicker. Coupled with the underwire, it lifts up your breasts nicely. The outside of the cups features a diagonal design. The cup is solid raspberry. There is a strip of ribbon running through lace trim and the top half has a floral lace allowing you to see the raspberry material behind it.



The center of the bustier features a cream colored solid fabric covered by a rose patterned lace. The center section is curved toward the middle and supported by curved boning. The boning is covered by the lace with ribbon trim featured on the cups. The rest of the bustier is the solid raspberry material.

The center back features lace on each side of the 17 hook/eye closures. There are three columns of eyes to allow for the proper fit.

An unusual design feature is that there are only two garters in the front and none in the back. The top of the garters is the lace with ribbon trim. There is a small raspberry bow and then a cream-colored adjustable garters with metal clasps. The garters are not removable.

There are 6 boning pieces and elastic sewn into the waist for a cinching effect.

The straps are not removable. They are 18" and can stretch to 25" in length.
2 garters adjust from 7" to 9" and are not removable.

Material and Care
90% Nylon and 10% Spandex exclusive of trim. Hand wash cold with delicate soap and hang to dry. Do not put in the washer or dryer, bleach or iron the bustier.

Well we have a winner at the county sex fair. This won the immediate erection blue ribbon. The bustier is his favorite piece of lingerie on me. As noted earlier, and you can see from my other reviews, my collection of lingerie is quite extensive. He is a big fan of anything ultra feminine and not see through. This is definitely it.

Often the designer spends a lot of time on the front but leaves the back pretty plain and uninteresting. It is not the case here. You will look great being taken from behind.

I love the look. The body fits snugly. Generally when I order a large it is a bit loose in the middle because I am more hourglass in figure. This fits well. The best part is that the design is very slimming. Because the center section curves into the middle, your midsection appears to come in toward the middle. The boning is also curved. That also pulls you in at the waist. The curved bottom reveals your panties. This does not come with panties. Matching panties are available here on EF.

I am 5'5" and did not have any of issues with the design. However, I must note that there are a few potential drawbacks for shorter women.
* First is that the garters are 7" at the shortest adjustment. Those with shorter legs may find them too long. It is quite easy to shorten them with a few stitches. You can double the garter over, lifting from the bottom forward. Then hide the stitches under the bow. Alternately, you can pull the ribbon tighter in the back and put a few stitches in to hold it. When your have the stockings attached, you will not be able to detect either fix.
* The bustier points in the front can be a bit long for some women. When you sit down the points could potentially dig into your thigh.

Due to the molded cups, I would caution anyone below a full C cup from getting this in a large as their breasts may get lost.

The only drawback for me was that, while sitting for an extended period, the boning did bend out of shape a bit. I was able to bend it back easily. Given this, I would not wear the bustier under my clothes for a full day at the office.
