Bcute is a small, discreet vibe suitable for people new to sex toys, travelers, or those with sensitive bits requiring more low-key vibrations. It certainly lives up to its name and is a good choice for anyone wants a body-safe vibe on a budget.

Use

The Bcute certainly lives up to it's name. It's petite, it's pink and it has a simple design. This traditional, twist-dial vibrator is insertable, but is ideally suited to external stimulation. Its quiet motor and small size, as well as the included satin bag, make it ideal for the gift giver, traveler or for those who require discretion from their toys.

This vibe is feature rich, especially for a toy in this price range. It has multiple speeds, it's waterproof, body-safe, non-porous, phthalates and latex-free.

Material / Texture

Bcute is a smooth, matte silicone with no give. It feels as if it's got a silicone coating over a hard plastic shell, instead of being made of solid silicone. Usually silicone toys have a bit of give to them, so this firm shaft can be used to apply pressure easily, if that is something you prefer. The texture has drag and without lube, generates friction when rubbed against your skin.

Silicone is one of the more body-safe materials that toys can be made from, because it's non-porous. It has no unpleasant odor or taste.

Design / Shape / Size

Bcute is a simple, 4.25" silicone shaft that tapers at one end and has with a plastic battery cap at the other. You can insert about 3" of this toy, which is slender 7/8" in diameter. There are no grooves or bulges here, just a gentle slope from the tapered end to the plastic cap which twists off to reveal the battery cavity for one AA battery.

It's petite size makes this vibe ideal for tucking away in a purse, suitcase or just easy to hide in a bathroom drawer or under the mattress in your room.

Functions / Performance / Controls

This toy is simply controlled with the twist-dial at the end. This means the vibrations available are on a continuum from very low to mid-range sensations. This is not a powerhouse bullet, by any means, but the vibes are more low frequency and "thuddy" than they are "buzzy".

The Bcute is really quiet. It's also waterproof which makes it a very handy toy to have if you enjoy playing in water, but don't have much privacy. The cap secures down over a silicone ring which seals the battery compartment and when it's submerged, keeps the battery compartment dry.

Care and Maintenance

The Bcute is pretty simple to care for and can be cleaned with soap and water, or your favorite toy cleaner. If you share your toys, this one can be disinfected with a 10% bleach solution. Water or oil-based lubes are safe for use with this toy, but avoid lubes containing silicone because they may damage the silicone surface of this toy.

Packaging

The black cardboard box this toy comes in is simple and tasteful, if not discreet. It has a photo of the product inside as well as an image of a woman in a bra, so there is little chance of passing it off as a non-sex toy.

There is a black satin bag, lined in pink, included in the package that makes storage simple and pretty.

Personal comments

Upon first use, I was disappointed with the vibrators performance. It seemed so weak that I suspected it might be defective. Oddly enough, after double checking I had a fresh battery and actually giving the toy a try, it seemed to get stronger the longer I used it. It's still just a tad too weak for my preference. I can get off with it, but it takes a considerable amount of time. I much prefer powerhouse bullets and probably won't get much use out of this toy. It's a shame because I like everything else about it.

This toy just never had enough power to do more than annoy me, so it didn't get much use (none at all really) after I completed my review. But I do think, I heard that the company planned to improve the motor strength based on customer response, so maybe they will, or have already, improved it. It would be nice, because I do really love the look and design of this one. I just need it to have more bzzzz!

Awesome review, it is strange that their isn't a high vibration level, you would think that would be one of the more important features you would put into one of these, at least from this ones perspective (and I am not so experienced with these products)

      I noticed that they did an interview this last year. It was before I got as involved though.

      I reviewed the the bswish(?) massage gel candle. I love it! I'd recommend checking them out for sure.
