Bcute classic - discreet massager discontinued by B Swish - review by Darling Dove

B Swish is a new company that's been making their way into the hearts of many reviewers and consumers by offering luxurious packaging, presentation, and products at a lower price than many of their competitors- and I am pleased to say this entry by B Swish, the Bcute, is no less luxurious than the rest of their lineup.

The packaging is exquisite, I'd say it rivals LELO, and the documentation is more than adequate, despite the instructions being a bit generic. It also comes with a pink lined, black satiny drawstring pouch to store the toy in long-term. Were I going to give this toy as a gift, I'd have no qualms about just wrapping up the box as it comes.

The Bcute is great for travel, especially with the pouch that comes included with it. It's so small, I can carry it, even in the pouch, in my pocket and have room to spare for keys or a cell phone. It would fit in the lipstick pocket in my purse, or the pen slots in my laptop case. It doesn't lock, but it's so quiet that even if it turned on accidentally it's unlikely anyone would notice - and that problem can easily be solved by taking the battery out, or unscrewing the cap a little. The pouch does have room for the Bcute and a spare battery, by the way, so if you want to travel with the battery out of it, you needn't worry about losing it in your purse or other luggage.

The Bcute is made out of body-safe silicone and plastic, and although you can't boil it due to the plastic, most toy cleaners and wipes, normal soap and water, or a 1/10 bleach solution could be used to clean it. The bleach solution would sterilize it, but you should always rinse it very well after using such a harsh chemical to prevent hurting yourself later on. Since this toy is made of silicone and plastic, only water based lube should be used with it. Silicone based lube could cause damage to the toy - and then it wouldn't be as cute anymore!

I have to say, I was really pleased with the aesthetic of the toy - there is a visible seam on it, but it poses no issues in use or during cleaning. Otherwise, the toy is very smooth, solid, and matte- in a rich, beautiful purple hue. It looks especially nice in the shower, with little droplets of water beading up on the surface.

The toy is, undeniably, very cute.

However, the performance of the toy doesn't stand up quite as well to scrutiny. While it is very waterproof, just as it claims, and very, very quiet, it's also rather weak. The vibrations are a nice, thrummy low pitch, but it just doesn't pull much power off of that one AA. The speeds are adjustable via a dial base, but there isn't much difference between the low speed and the high speed.

I could not get off with this toy - not solely from the vibrations. The saving grace of this toy is the delicious matte silicone texture, which provides just the right amount of drag against one's skin to be wonderful for manual stimulation. It's not too rough, and the soft vibrations are a wonderful accompaniment while using the toy to manually stimulate almost any of your erogenous areas. Despite being waterproof and silicone, though, you shouldn't use this toy for anal insertion - there's no flare, and it could easily get lost.

The toy can be used for some vaginal penetration, and it worked alright for me for G-spot stimulation because I could basically use it just like an extension of my finger, but it was too gentle and wouldn't have gotten me off or made me squirt. It definitely excels more at external stimulation - especially on the clitoris or nipples.

Another thing that's important to note about this toy is that it's so small that you could easily use it during partner sex. It's not overwhelming, and it's very iunntimidating. As an accent to penetration, with toys or with a partner, this toy has just the right level of vibrations for me to give me that tiny bit of extra pleasure. As an added bonus, unlike hard plastic vibrators, this toy has a layer of silicone over it so if it touches the other toy you're using, you wont get that horrible clacking noise of hard materials vibrating against one another.

Taking everything into account, I really do like this toy. The vibrations are really soft, and I could not get off on them alone, but the material really saves it. It feels really close to being manually stimulated by someone else, a feeling I love, but it's just a bit more gentle and subdued - which is wonderful, because I hate the inevitable soreness after having many outstanding pressure and friction-filled manual clitoral orgasms.

I'll definitely be taking this one to get my fiance started on using toys with me. I think he could use it without laughing at it, and the fact that it comes with a little pouch is awesome.

Despite it not having the punch I need to get off every time, it has its merits and excels as a foreplay toy, or for emulating manual stimulation if you like pressure and friction. It's also great for partners who're scared by typical vibrators, since the dial base is super easy to use, and it'd be wonderful for toy newbies as well. It is seriously, seriously cute.

Unfortunately, even though I love it for manual stimulation, most women probably can't orgasm on cuteness alone - and I can definitely say I wouldn't have minded a bit more punch, like what some of my pocket rockets get out of one AA. It's a great, low pitched vibration which makes it seem stronger- but when placing both in my pocket, I noticed my cell phone's vibration alert more than the Bcute .

My first experience with this toy was in the shower, and was, honestly, pretty lackluster. I didn't have any lube with me, and it felt too rough on my clit since my natural lube, well, isn't waterproof.

Later on, though, with just a little bit of water-based lubricant, it felt really, really awesome. I was able to get the pressure and little bit of friction I wanted, if you're gentle with it it almost feels like oral, because the toy warms to your body temperature so quickly. I think it's really great for longer, more drawn out orgasms, and the kind I had with this were less like my typical powerhouse toy orgasms and more like the kind I have with a partner who's hand is down my pants.

The only downside to this is that I now feel their pain when they say their arm cramps up after a while, haha.

And, I know some people might be a bit confused since of course I can just manually stimulate myself- but it's always a little different when it's something else touching you - be it a toy, someone else's hand, or whatever it may be. Besides, I'm an artist, I have rough hands.. so it's a real clit-saver.
