Its a Love Hate Relationship.....I would have to say that if you are looking for a clitoral stimulator to look elsewhere for something that will be easier to handle (grip) and something a little less bulky. If you are looking for a massaging aid, then this toy may be worth your mollah. This is going to depend on your intentions with the toy and if you are able to achieve any sort of "back up plan" in the event that it doesn't work for you for one specific use. If you can get creative, you can definitely use this!
I do want to say though, that if you are super creative, you CAN find some pretty awesome things to do with this ball. The Pleasure Ball vibrates and it is also waterproof. So this right here can give you tons of creative thinking as to how to use it. The Pleasure ball requires 3 AA batteries, so its going to be costly to keep this bad boy running. (To me anyways, I hate using so many batteries).
I found that this toy was extremely hard to hang onto. Because of the size and shape of the Pleasure Ball, gripping this toy is almost impossible (unless you have some massive hands). If you are using any sort of lubricants with it, I would highly suggest that you make sure to not get lube on your hands or the part that you are holding onto, or you could very well be spending most of your night looking for where it rolled under to!
The Pleasure Ball has multiple speeds and is turned on/off (and used to run through the different settings) via the small button on the bottom side of the ball. Or the top side? Which ever you prefer to call it. In any event, the pleasure ball does give off quite a bit of vibrations and can be a great relaxing massager if used properly. I tried this on my feet. I have many foot cramps, muscle tension and ankle pains in my feet daily. So, as I was sitting on the couch (and you can also do this sitting on the side of your bed, I suppose) I took the pleasure ball, turned it on and set it beneath my foot. I rolled my foot around on it for a few moments and realized that it had worked quite well to work the charlies horse out of the bottom of my foot! Which was pretty impressive, seems how my husband can't even do that with his hands!
You could also use this vibrating pleasure ball for your lower back, shoulders, thighs and other padded areas of the body. I would suggest padded areas, only because of the fact that it is a harder plastic and may not feel as relaxing on thinner areas of the body.
The pleasure ball is made up of plastic and TPR. This material is Hypo-allergenic and latex free, for those of you with allergies to certain materials. This toy can also be used with water based and silicone based lubricants.
I'm not sure how well it is recommended (Or if it is steered clear of) but beings that I was using this pleasure ball as a massaging device, I used a small amount of Shunga exotic massage oil. So far, I have not seen any adverse effects.
Clean up is pretty simple. Wash with warm soapy water and dry with a rag or towel. I would suggest using an antibacterial spray on this toy after use, simply because the material is more porous than silicone and cannot be "sterilized". You will want to make sure to kill off any kind of bacteria that you may not be able to wash off.
I will say that I wasn't fond of the fact that it was quite loud to me. It may just be me, because I have more quiet toys normally, but for me it seemed a bit too loud. This is something that you would use when you're not having to be as "discreet".
