Lucid dream petites no. 16 review by Doc Johnson

When I first saw the Lucid Dreams Petites #16, I wanted it. It was translucent pink and had a small silver egg in the tip, as well as contoured waves down the length of it. Unfortunately it happened to be made of seemingly low quality PVC (aka Jellie), which I didn't realize until I had it in my hot little hands. If you've ever had an experience with a low quality PVC toy, you know exactly what I'm talking about. It has a strong, distinctly chemical odor which does not go away. It can also cause some pretty nasty skin reactions. Condoms here we come.

I'm not a huge fan of condoms on sex toys. But I figured since I own it, I might as well try it out. With a condom, lube, and determination, I set to work. And work it was. Slippage - arrgh! The Petite is slender, so the condoms I had on hand were not a great match for it. They are of the larger variety and kept slipping off, not to mention getting in the way. They also happen to be lubed, which made the vibe control rather sticky and difficult to turn. I began to get mighty frustrated with the whole thing.

Ok, so it still vibrated well, despite the lube smeared on the dial, and vibration was the point to begin with, right? Right. Thrusting was simply out of the question, so to the ass it went. Or, into, I should say. Not all the way, but just enough. With the first "wave" buzzing away in my ass, I got out my Hitachi and proceeded to rather enjoy the dual vibration sensation. It worked. I came quickly, though not spectacularly. Overall, this toy really isn't that bad. The shape and size are good and the vibrations are quite nice. It is a good size for anal play as well. However, unless you enjoy using condoms with your sex toys, I wouldn't recommend this particular vibe. Perhaps something in silicone is available. Back to shopping I go!
