Must Have

It's easy to hold, the controls are simple to decipher, and it takes a readily-available size battery (be sure to have some on hand; it requires one AA and the battery isn't included). The vibrations are, as claimed, fairly powerful. The small size and not-immediately-suggestive appearance make it a good choice if you don't have as much privacy as you'd like. This is the second product by Doc Johnson that I have purchased, and so far, I am very pleased with the quality.

I'm not sure just how quiet I'd say this is- certainly anyone in the same room would hear it. But the material feels good on the body and the different additions are easy to use. After the fun, it is easy to clean and doesn't need a lot of space to store it, so it would be the perfect little toy to have, for example, in your car. You never know.

I'm used to bullet models with separate remotes, so it was a bit weird to hold, but definitely better put-together than the ones with the cords that tend to pull out. The other problem I have is in cleaning- the plastic cover has little nubs on it that are a bit awkward and the actual vibrator has three silver parts on the top that almost need a brush to get clean.

Surreptitiously, I decided to spice up the love life with my husband. After hearing about the Pocket Rocket and reading the reviews, the price wasn't bad so I took the plunge. With a little nervousness, the PR was introduced, but he was willing to try it.

After a few minutes he exclaimed, "Are you kidding me!?" It was a home run. As for noise, the PR is very quiet, and we had no problems through the airport. Works well as a regular massager too.

I'm very experienced with clitoral vibrators since I don't orgasm with coitus, but I do with vibrators in 3 minutes or less if they're powerful enough. This little vibrator is about as powerful as battery powered toys get, impressive for only 1 AA battery, but didn't get my highest rating for 4 reasons:

1) Still not as powerful as plug-in vibrators; "Eroscillator" and other similar brands can't be beat. Somehow, I still can't orgasm very easily with Doc Johnson toys, it takes a LOT more effort. Though, it is more powerful than the more expensive, battery-powered "Synergy Pleasure System" (which I returned), but the Synergy does have more attachments if you like that option. I've always found that I like one attachment best (the "nubbiest" one) and never use the others.

2) You turn it on by twisting, and you can adjust the intensity by how much you twist, but it's a little difficult to keep at a specific intensity lower than the highest (since there's no specific settings). Also, it does tend to shake when it vibrates and it is a tiny bit hard to hold onto at the highest intensity.

3) It's not waterproof.

4) It's a tiny bit noisy.

You can also take off the nubby plastic cap if you want a gentler vibration with just the smooth, rounded tip.

Simply put, I'm not a screamer, but after using this one time, I can sing soprano. Small, easy to carry, and I love the little attachment that it comes with. What takes me a few minutes now only takes me a few seconds. Two thumbs and toes up for this one.
