Pocket vibe extra - pocket rocket by WHK GmbH - review by Retro

At first glance I was very interested in this toy and how well the changeable caps would feel. There is only one vibration setting and it requires one AA battery. Under the description it states it is waterproof, but to be honest I am scared to try it out in water. Turning the product on is very easy. You simply hold the bottom and twist. It turns from OPEN, to OFF and then ON.

It is made of plastic, a non-porous and phthalate-free material, that can easily be cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water or by wiping down with isopropyl alcohol. Plastic is also safe to use with water, oil and silicone lubes. I recommend this product only be used for clitoral stimulation or massaging. Anal use is not recommended since the caps come off easily!

When I first turned the toy on I found the noise level very loud. The second time I went to try out the toy it kept cutting off so I had to mess with the bottom. If you look it is the type where you turn and the metal piece connects with another metal piece for power to flow through. For some reason, the two metal pieces of mine were not touching properly. After taking the bottom off and then reconnecting it I got it to turn back on. I have not had a problem with it since, but I also do not use this product too much.

I found the vibration a little too strong for my liking on areas like my clitoris and nipples. I did, however, successfully use it as a neck massager for a spot that tends to tense up and cause me headaches. The changeable caps were not comfortable to me on my clitoris. There are four different caps. One is smoothly curved, like a bubble almost, another has multiple bumps going around in a circle, and the other two have what I would describe as "spikes". One of the "spiked" tops pretty much covers the whole top in a circle design in many rows. The second "spiked" top is also across the whole top but there are less of them and bigger looking "spikes". I found the "spiked" ones uncomfortable with the high vibration.

I found this product most useful to use during sexual play and achieve orgasm if I already had been playing for awhile and needed an extra kick for a clitoral orgasm. I stick to just using the smoothly curved top most of the time. I prefer to use it as a massager by laying down and placing it under my neck because after a while of holding it my hand feels weird from the high vibration. Cleaning is an easy process. I wipe it down with a warm rag.

Long story short, unless you really like clitoral orgasms but you need a real kicker to get off I wouldn't recommend this product. However, if you are looking for something travel friendly to use for little aches and pains then it's good for massaging.

I was really hoping this would turn into me liking it. I was starting to at first, but ultimately this is still too much for me to use. I still love the strong vibrations for the tension in the back of my neck, but for sexual use it is a no go. I haven't even been using it for a massager and have kind of forgotten about it after my other failed attempts. I think it would still be good for travel, but obviously it could be more than a massager or at least noisy enough to disturb others you could be around.
