Mia is mostly smooth, slick plastic. Its " " and "-" control pad is made of a flexible silicone. It can be used with a water-based lube (as per manufacturer recommendations, silicone-lube should be avoided because of the silicone button control pad) and I would recommend cleaning it with an antibacterial toy wipe because it's not waterproof. The directions do say you can wash it with antibacterial soap and water because it's spashproof, but I'd do so with caution.

At 4.5 inches long and 7/8 inches in diameter Mia is ideal for external stimulation but not so much for insertion. The stats list the insertion length at 1.5 inches and to me, that really means that you are stimulating the entrance of your vagina but not really inserting the toy.

Using the " " and "-" buttons on the side of the toy, you can increase the vibration strength from a low to high buzz. Once maximum intensity has been reached, hit the "-" key again to change to one of three pulsation patterns. Press the "-" again to return to continuous buzz and press and hold it to decrease intensity (hold until vibrations stop entirely to turn it off). To lock Mia and keep it from turning on during travel or extended storage, hold both buttons on the control pad down for 5 seconds. To unlock, repeat the process until the LED light under the buttons lights up.

Mia's lipstick shape and size make it easy to hide but also mean you really don't have to. Few people would look twice at this vibe, thinking it was just another tube of lipstick. It's got enough power to satisfy most users, but perhaps may fall short for the "Clit O'Steel" set.
