This is an adorable, super portable and discreet, extra travel friendly clitoral vibe. She's not super powerful so she won't satisfy power queens and hitachi girls, but in my opinion, she's a must have purse or travel vibe. She doesn't look like a vibrator or a sex toy so chances are, even if someone saw her, you wouldn't have much explaining to do, but she's so small that you could hide her in your hand. Her usb charging system also makes her an excellent travel companion. She's non-threatening and would make a great first toy as well. She's also super cute, reasonably priced and beautifully packaged, which makes her an excellent gift idea. She's very classy looking and feminine, though I'm certain she would work well for a man, specifically in black. While she's great for teasing and stimulating all areas of the body, she's not designed for anal insertion since her size and lack of a base makes it unsafe.

Mia is made of super silky smooth hard plastic. She's got a very shiny finish and glides over the skin effortlessly. She has almost no drag whatsoever. There is no smell or taste to her whatsoever. Her buttons and the seal of her cap is made of silicone, so no silicone lubes. With her smooth texture, most users will probably not need lube, though it can be fun to have things a little slippery.

Mia is shaped a little like a lipstick or an elongated bullet. Her cap is lipstick shaped. If someone saw her among other items in your purse, for example, the natural assumption would be a lipstick, mascara or another cosmetic item.

She's about that size at 4 1/4" long and 7/8" in diameter. Taking off her cap reveals her USB charging port. Think USB flash drive, which is most likely what anyone would assume if they saw her plugged in. Her silicone buttons are right in the middle, just under the metal band below her cap.

The cap is held in place by silicone around the part where the cap grips, providing some seal. She's NOT waterproof, however, so use caution. The design is very discreet, extremely non-threatening, easy to hold and very versatile. The design allows it to be used for direct pin-point stimulation at the tip or broader stimulation along the side of the cylinder. Because she's so small, she would be easy to use during partner sex since she would fit between two bodies very easily. The tip allows for about 1 1/2" of insertion if you really want it, though this is more of a tease than anything. She is exceptionally good at teasing the vulva and anus if desired. I wouldn't recommend anal insertion since she has no stop or base to keep her from going too far.

Her length and the fact that vibrations travel the whole length of the toy allow you to use the shaft of the toy for clitoral stimulation while the tip can tease the vaginal opening. The Lelo name appears on the slanted part of the lid.

Her design is functional but also very classy and feminine. I find her to be much classier and ultimately more discreet than the lipstick vibes that look like a child's fake cosmetics. This could be any non-descript, cylindrical cosmetic until you take the cap off and realize, oh! it's a clever and feminine USB drive. It's still not apparent that it's neither of these things!

Mia has 9 vibration levels and 4 patterns. You have to cycle through all the levels to get to the patterns, which is a little cumbersome in my opinion, but far from a fatal flaw.

Unlike some of Lelo's other toys, the first level IS strong enough to be felt, though it's not very powerful. The vibrations are a little buzzy but not extremely so. The higher levels are more buzzy than the lower ones. The higher level vibrations are not extremely strong but more than strong enough for me. I can use her quite successfully on the 5th or 6th level.

The buttons are silicone, soft and easy to press. The buttons are convenient to access during use and the silicone makes it easy to tell the buttons apart from the rest of the toy by feel and the raised + and - symbols make it relatively easy to tell the buttons apart. This helps because I can change settings easily during use without taking it away from my body. The toy is super quiet. You have to be very close and with no barrier to hear it. You barely even need to use it under a blanket for it not to be heard across a room.

For patterns, Mia has a slow pulse, fast pulse, hard beats, and a roller coaster. The + button turns Mia on and increases the vibration strength. The - button lowers the strength. Once you're at the highest level of vibration, pressing and holding the + button will take you to the first pattern. The + button then scrolls through the patterns. The - button does not back track through the patterns, but instead, takes you back to steady vibrations. Pressing and holding both buttons will lock Mia and doing the same again will unlock her. The LED light behind her buttons will flash when she's locked/unlocked. Very useful for travelling.

Charging Mia is super easy! Simply pop off her cap and plug her into any USB port. She comes with a convenient USB extension cord so you could plug the cord into the computer or other port and Mia into the cord if the port is hard to get to or if you want to be able to hide her. Unless someone is familiar with her and already knows what she is, most people will assume she is a USB flash drive or something, not a vibrator. I've successfully charged her in the USB port in my car stereo. My phone's car charger also has a USB port that she will charge in. Alternatively, any phone charger that has a USB cord that plugs into it (most Android and iPhones are this style) would work with Mia as well. Just plug Mia directly into the AC unit instead of the phone cord or use her USB extension cord. Any gaming console or other device with a USB port would work to charge her as well, making her super convenient. Her LED light will blink when she is charging and glow steady when she's fully charged. She will flash red and turn herself off when her battery is dead. Do not use her while she's charging and do not use her with her cap off. Also, a side note, locking her, then charging her will automatically unlock her. So remember to relock her buttons after charging her.
She lasts 2-3 hours on a charge, more or less based on which setting you're using. I usually get 2-3 long play sessions out of a charge.

Mia is not waterproof so submerging her, inserting her past her buttons, running water over her buttons, or anything that would let liquid get into her buttons or cap is ill-advised. She is hard plastic and silicone though, so it's super easy to clean!

Wipe with toy wipes or a damp cloth with toy cleaner. I cover her buttons with my finger and run the tip under water to rinse off the cleaner from the part that touches my body. You can also use alcohol or a 10% bleach solution on a cloth the same way. Storing is super easy too and she comes with a couple of great options. Her little box makes a great storage solution, and is also a great way to store her cord and the warranty card she comes with. She also comes with a little satin pouch that is great to store her in as well. Personally, I keep her in her pouch tucked in the pocket of my purse where I keep tampons. I usually charge her in my car so she's ready to go when I am. Take care to keep water and lube out of the cap and USB port.

Lelo's packaging is always beautiful. Mia's outer box is thin cardboard in the color of your Mia. The back has a picture of Mia and some info about her. The front is plain and would not give away what she is unless someone knew the brand name, but the back makes it pretty obvious so if someone picked it up and turned it over, they'd know it was a sex toy. The inner box is classic Lelo black matte cardboard and gives nothing away but the brand name. It's very sturdy and a great storage option. Mia comes in the box nestled in a hard black plastic formed shell with a clear plastic formed cover. Underneath the shell is the instructions, product info, warranty information for both the 1 year warranty and 10 year quality guarantee as well as the number and barcode you need to register your Mia. Keep the barcode and number in case you ever need to use the warranty or guarantee. I personally throw away the plastic shells and outer box and keep the inner box. Mia's non-threatening beginner friendly design and her moderate price point make her an excellent, classy gift item and her packaging lends itself to this as well. If you remove the outer box, which, as I said, it is not overtly obvious but not perfectly discreet either; gift the toy in the inner packaging only, it would make a perfect gift package.

I wanted a clitoral vibe that would be a convenient travel companion. I often stay at a family member or friend's house for a couple of days at a time and found myself missing my go-to vibrator, but it's too big for me to feel comfortable bringing it, and charging it would be an issue. So I settled on Mia and couldn't be happier. As I mention above, I charge her in my car stereo's USB port while I'm driving which works perfectly. I keep her in my purse with me at all times to make it easy to pull her out and charge her and she's always with me. She's so easy to use and super convenient, and just powerful enough for me. I love how discreet she is and that if anyone saw her, they probably wouldn't know what she is. She's beautiful, feminine and classy looking, which also appeals to me. I'm extremely happy with my purchase. She definitely lives up to Lelo's name.
