Use

Eva is a lovely toy, one that can be enjoyed by someone who is a beginner to toys, as well as by an advanced user such as myself. It is designed to provide easy G-spot stimulation, but I also found it to be wonderful for simple clitoral stimulation. It can be used alone, for a little playtime, or with a partner during intercourse. I found it to bring me to orgasm quickly, which cannot be said for all of the toys that I have tried over the years. The vibrations from it are more buzzy than I usually like, but I didn't mind it so much with this particular toy. I truly would recommend it for anyone, especially if you enjoy clitoral stimulation as much as I do!

Material / Texture

Eva is made of the ever-popular Silicone, and has a light rubber smell when held directly next to your nose. It has no discernible taste, however. There is a slight drag on the skin from the material, so it works better when well-lubed with a nice water-based lubricant such as Sliquid Organics Silk. There is a fairly pronounced seam running the length of the shaft, from the handle all the way to the tip. There is also a ridge that runs the length, which I think is supposed to provide some sort of stimulation, but I didn't feel any sort of stimulation from it.

The shaft itself is very flexible, making it easy to adjust the angle at which you apply it to your body. I found this to make G-spot stimulation fairly easy as well as difficult, if that makes sense. When bent, it doesn't hold the position you put it in, which can make things difficult.

    • Light odor
    • Not porous at all

Design / Shape / Size

I quite like the design of the Eva. It's 9" long, with 7" of it being insertable. It has a circumference of 4" at the largest point. It's tapered from the base to the smallest point in the middle, back to a larger bulb at the end. The end is also tapered to a point, giving a nice concentration of vibrations for G-spot stimulation. It definitely looks like an adult toy, so it's not especially discreet. However, it could easily be hidden in a drawer, or a night stand.

Functions / Performance / Controls

As I mentioned earlier, the vibrations of the Eva are fairly buzzy, but not terribly so. They're still reasonably strong, which is not always the case with buzzy vibrations. On the handle, there are two buttons, one with an on/off symbol, and the other with a squiggly line. To turn it on, simply hit the on/off button. The squiggly line button is for cycling through the seven different vibration functions. These variations are:

1. Low
2. Medium
3. High
4. Escalating pulses
5. Long Pulsating High
6. Short Pulsating High
7. Short-short-short-long Pulsating High

To turn it off, simply hit the on/off button again. I love that it's not necessary to cycle through all of the variations to turn it off.

It's quite quiet, about as loud as a cell phone vibration at the loudest. It's also waterproof, and works fabulously in the shower!
    • Discreet sound
    • Easy to use
    • Lots of variety in function

Care and Maintenance

Since Eva is made out of Silicone, it is one of the safest materials, and one of the easiest to care for. It can be cleaned with soap and warm water or your favorite wipes. It can be disinfected using a 10% bleach solution. I store mine in my closet, as I have a cabinet in there specifically set aside for all of my toys. Be careful not to store it touching any other silicone toys, as this can damage the material. It should also only be used with water-based lubricants.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store
Follow-up commentary
This toy has great vibrations, and is still a fun toy for g-spot and clitoral stimulation. It's not my first choice, but I still enjoy it!
