Extreme Vibrating Action

EVA would be a good toy for someone who is looking for an affodable G-spot toy. Its length allows for accommodation of G-spots of all depths. However, if you prefer rumbly vibrations, keep moving. This toy is incredibly buzzy and I did not find it to be pleasurable.

Use

EVA - short for Extreme Vibrating Action - is a waterproof silicone G-spot vibrator manufactured by California Exotic Novelties. Its got a sleek shape, curved head and a slender, flexible body. In addition to stimulating the G-spot, EVA is pretty powerful and would be great for stimulating other erogenous zones such as the breasts, nipples, clitoris, etc.

Its shape goes from thick, to slender and gradually becomes thicker again, so anal play would be suitable for this one. Since it is silicone, it will not hold any harmful bacteria or fluids. However, it is important to take special care when using products that are not intended for anal use.

This toy would be suitable for any user who likes to explore G-spot play, or is looking for a relatively strong, affordable body safe vibrator.

Material / Texture

EVA is made of a beautiful soft, smooth silicone. Silicone rates a perfect 10 on EdenFantasys' safety scale. Its control panel and battery compartment are made of plastic which rates an 8, but this portion of the toy is not insertable.

This isn't the most velvety silicone, and does have a bit of drag to it, but not as much as a toy made of TPR would. Still, it is smooth, but will pick up tiny particles and fuzz. It is soft and free of any taste or odor, save for the "new" smell, which does wash off.

Since it is so smooth, there shouldn't be a need for any more than a minimal amount of lubricant (water based!) to insert it. EVA only has one texture, which is a sort of semi-bulged wave going up each side of the shaft. It's aesthetically appealing, but I was not able to feel it during use. Anyone who likes more intense texture may want to look elsewhere.

One thing I did find a bit unsettling is that there is no denotation on the product or package that it is free of phthalates - it only says it is body safe. I don't like being left with questions!

Design / Shape / Size

EVA has a total length of 9 in., and an insertable length of 7.25 in. The thickest point of its head has a diameter of 1.25 in. The majority of the shaft is a slender .63 in., so its head is pronounced and great for G-spot stimulation.

The design of this toy is very appealing. EVA is sleek and elegant. It is available in pink, lavender and purple. I think this design is great for the G-spot and I like that it is long enough to accommodate G-spots of varying depths. Mine is about 4 in. deep, so a lot of G-spot toys do not reach where I need them to. The shaft is also flexible to a point.

I am usually a size queen, but even though it's skinnier (in some parts) than any toy I own, EVA is just fine by me. I like that the design allows me to be creative with how I use the toy. Since the shaft is pretty thin, it does not create a stretched feeling while thrusting.

I've seen a lot of complaints about photos not being "helpful" since some reviewers don't take comparison shots of said toy with everyday objects. So, thanks to my ability to be a smartass, here is EVA with a slew of random things. Hopefully this photo will please those Debbie Downers.

Here is a shot of LELO Ina 2, EVA, and O2 Revolution.

This toy is suitable for travel, but may not be discreet. It does not have a lock feature, but if you don't want it to accidentally turn on, all you've got to do is remove the batteries.

Functions / Performance / Controls

EVA is powered by two AAA batteries that have a compartment underneath a water tight twist-off cap at the base of the toy. While holding the toy in your hand, you can tell the origin of the vibrations come from within the head of the toy. They travel down through the shaft, but cannot be felt in the base while holding the toy.

EVA is easy to use. There is a power button that can be pressed to turn it on or off. The buttons light up red while the toy is powered on. I love a toy with a power button because it can be easily turned off without having to go through all the functions. The only other button on this toy is the function button, which takes you through its various settings.

Unfortunately (for me, at least), the vibrations provided by EVA are way too buzzy for my liking. Strong? Yes, but you can even tell by the high pitched buzz the toy makes. Despite its shape that is crafted for G-spot precision, I got more enjoyment out of using this vibrator on my clitoris. The shape is great, but its two drawbacks for me were the extremely buzzy vibrations, and the fact that the shaft wasn't stiff enough for my personal liking. This toy is waterproof, and I did not notice any change in function or strength while it was submerged.

Its functions are as follows:
1: Steady low vibration.
2: Steady medium vibration.
3: Steady high vibration.
4: Rollercoaster going from lowest vibration to highest.
5: Fast pulse.
6: Faster pulse
7: Steady pulse, then drawn out ending.
By pressing the function again, it will take you back to function 1.

EVA is not very loud. I'd give it 2 bees on low, and 3 bees on high. I doubt it could be able to be heard through a closed door.

Care and Maintenance

Silicone is one of the easiest materials to care for since it is non porous. EVA can be cleaned with soap and water, toy cleaner or wipes. If you choose the soap and water method, make sure the battery compartment is completely shut.

To fully sanitize this toy, wipe it down in a 10% bleach solution. This should always be done when this toy is shared between partners or orifices.

Silicone toys should only be used with water based lubricants. Silicone based lubricants can damage the toy's surface by making it warped or tacky.

EVA's packaging is suitable for storage, but the package is clear, so make sure it's well hidden if that is an issue.

Packaging

EVA comes packaged in a pretty blue and clear plastic box. It is not flimsy, but not the strongest, either. EVA sits in a plastic clam shell on display through the front of the box. A photo of the product is printed on the side.

The back panel of information. This is written in 5 languages.

There were no instructions printed on or included in the box. Thankfully, this toy is pretty self explanatory and didn't require me to figure anything out.

This package is not discreet, so I would not recommend gifting it in its original packaging, unless the other party knows what they are about to receive. The box does come in handy for storage, especially if you have a lot of toys like myself and want to keep materials separated.

Experience

I believe EVA has potential to be a great toy... just not for me. I am very finicky with the toys I choose, and its vibrations and size did not live up to what I typically prefer. The vibrations are far too buzzy for me to get any enjoyment out of, and the shaft seemed a bit too flexible for me to get the kind of pressure I like on my G-spot.

I've given this toy 3 stars out of 5. I've deducted a star for the overly buzzy vibrtions, and another for the lack of clarification on the properties of the silicone and if it is phthalate free.
Follow-up commentary
Since Eva is silicone and body-safe, I passed this vibe onto a friend. She enjoys it very much, especially since it is waterproof. The ridiculously buzzy vibrations were too unpleasant for me, so I gave this one a nice new home.
