Not-so-cute G

I know it was a free gift, but it was one of the loudest vibrators I've ever used. Plus, the vibrations weren't even strong enough to make it worth it. If you're looking into buying this, pass. Mine went in the trash as soon as I'd gathered all the necessary info for my review, I couldn't get rid of it fast enough.

Use

This toy is built for g-spot stimulation, given the egg-like bit on the end and the hooked shape. I would say this is best for beginners, given the vibration weakness most advanced users wouldn't care to bother with it. It has no base at all, so it is not safe for anal penetration. This can also be used on the clitoris and other external parts, but the sound of the toy will make that an unappealing prospect to many users. According to the product page it is waterproof, but I wouldn't personally risk that with this toy. This toy will not work for you if you have a roommate, intend to use this in public, or anywhere outside of somewhere total private with no one that can hear. It's loud!

Material / Texture

The material is rigid plastic, no flex to this at all. It is smooth and non-porous, made with food-grade material, it is hypo-allergenic/latex free/phthalates free. The toy didn't really have any smell for me that I had noticed. Plastic toys can be used with any sort of lubricant - water, silicone, or oil based. There is no real texture anywhere on this toy, though if there were that could provide some added g-spot stimulation for some users. Being plastic, it is not at all sticky, as silicone can be. This makes storing and cleaning a lot easier, as it does not attract dust and lint.

Design / Shape / Size

The design of this toy is very much for beginners to g-spot stimulation. If you are looking for a cheap toy for that purpose, you could give this a shot. However, I will note that I did get this as a free gift, I would not recommend paying for this toy otherwise. If you are able to do the same and are trying to discover your g-spot, why not give this a try. But, if you have the money for this toy, I would save it since there are better g-spot toys on the market. One other thing to keep in mind is that it could be too short for some. It may not be quiet the right length or shape for everyone's anatomy, so there is no guarantee that this will help you find or stimulate your g-spot. This has a total length of 6", 4 1/4" of which are insertable. The circumference is 4 1/4" and diameter is 2". That size, specifically the egg-shape on the end, could even make it a bit difficult to insert for tighter individuals, or those who are totally new to penetration.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The fact that it only takes one battery is nice, and it takes AA which are easy to come by. The sound is not discreet at all. This is loud and almost rattly when turned on, and only gets louder with stronger vibration. It could most certainly be heard through a door. This was actually the loudest toy I've used in recent memory. The noise is dulled a bit when inserted, but it is still pretty loud. Insertion takes it down one bee, it can still be heard through the covers, and possibly the door still. It is a bit awkward to use externally, being that it is so loud. The vibrations really aren't strong enough for me.

There is only one control, which makes it pretty easy to figure out (which is good, given the lack of instructions). It has one push button on the very button of the toy, on the cap that screws on to keep the battery in. At least with this, there doesn't really seem to be much risk of changing the setting or turning the toy off accidentally while in use.

It has 3 settings, all of which are steady vibration; there are no patterns with this toy. The first is a very low vibration, which I completely skip, it's not worth anyone's time. The next setting has slightly stronger vibrations, but not by much, and certainly not enough for me. This setting wouldn't really do anything for anyone I don't think, unless they were totally new to vibrators. The last settings was the only one I would use, it is the strongest of the vibrations, and even then it wasn't enough. In fact, when I first turned it on and started playing with it, I fully cycled through the vibrations accidentally about 4 times. Why? Because each time it got to that highest setting, I would unconsciously hit the button again, expecting it to go to a higher setting, since it was too weak; instead, it just turned off each time. The vibrations of this toy really aren't worth it for me, especially given the noise.

Care and Maintenance

There is a seam, where the two colors meet on the egg-shape on the end. I think that this would get in the way of cleaning, even though it is otherwise smooth plastic. Plastic can be cleaned with soap and water, or with toy cleaner. However, given the seam, I would use soap and water and really make sure to clean off that seam as well as possible. However, the toy is not large, and would be easy to store.

Packaging

This packaging is very promotional-looking, not discreet, and not at all minimal.

It comes in a plastic package that is much too big for the toy, it just rustles around in it. It's clear, and has info about EdenFantasys all over it, and the toy is completely visible. It is a sort of plastic sleeve-box that folds in at both ends. Very large, very excessive. Then, inside of this box, the toy is sealed in a plastic bag. Lots of excess plastic. I definitely would not bother to keep the packaging, it's not worth keeping for storage. If you are looking for something to give to a friend who you want to get in on the Eden Community, you might keep it in the package to gift it, otherwise the package isn't very cute for gift giving. The package has a lot of info about Eden (points program, reviewing, etc.), but not much about the toy, if any at all.

Follow-up commentary
This toy really didn't do anything for me, I ended up getting rid of it. It was weak, LOUD, and there wasn't really much for me to like about it at all.
