It's definitely cute... but that's about it

This pocket-sized vibe is adorable if you're into pink on pink with rhinestones, but aside from its cutesy appearance, it has little to offer. The plastic is completely smooth with no texture or ridges - good for some, not so much for others - and the vibration intensity is meager, even on high. All in all it's a pretty underwhelming toy.

Use

The Cute G is listed as a G-spot vibe, and its performance is mediocre in this category. This pink egg-on-a-stick is not particularly large or long, has no ridges or textures to stimulate the G-spot, and falls short of pleasurable vibrations. All in all, a standard dildo measures up (and possibly surpasses) the Cute G as a g-spot toy. Likewise, as a clitoral stimulator it fails to deliver primarily due to the ultra-smooth texture and meager vibrations.

As an anal toy, the Cute G achieves a reasonable measure of success, although this use isn't what they toy was designed for. The bulbous head is large enough to provide a decent sensation on insertion, no ridges to catch or scrape, and I felt the vibes a touch better anally than vaginally. Caution should be used when using the toy in this capacity as there is no flared base to prevent the toy from slipping entirely into the anus.

Material / Texture

The Cute G is made from hypo-allergenic plastic. It's also latex and phthalates free, receiving an 8 on the safety scale. The material is non-porous, easy to clean, and velvety smooth.

After opening the package I gave the Cute G a sniff, and smelled nothing unusually strong or bothersome (it sat outside in 95 degree heat for 3 hours, so there was a faint plastic smell at first). Any plastic odor this toy has is negligible once it has been washed. There is no discernible taste.

The smooth plastic of the toy has no texture variation of any type. Even the obvious ridge line where dark pink changes to light pink is too small to feel when the toy is in use. While the plastic feels soft against your skin, the toy is rigid, providing an unusual contrast. While I would throw this toy more into the beginners category, anyone who likes silky smooth texture will enjoy the feeling of this toy.

Design / Shape / Size

My first thought when I saw this toy was, "Oh look, it's an egg on a stick." Having used it, I stand by my original observation.

The 'egg' portion is 2" long and about 1.25" diameter. This portion also contains the motor. The 'stick' part of the toy is a thin baby pink shaft, about 5/8ths of an inch in diameter, and 2.25" long. A fairly drastic curve, about 45 degrees, separates the egg from the stick. This bend does make it easy to keep the bulbous end rubbing the right spot internally, as well as providing almost a perfect angle for clitoral stimulation while keeping the wrist comfortable.

As a G-spot vibe, I was unimpressed by the size of the toy on all counts. The bulbous end is not large, the vibrations are weak even on high, and the shaft provides no sensation beyond a tiny tickle from the vibe when used vaginally. Use as a clitoral stimulator makes the toy's size seem more reasonable, but the bland smoothness and poor vibrations prevent that from being very interesting either. I enjoyed the size and feel of the toy best when used anally. The smooth outside kept the Cute G from catching even with minimal lube and the size was just right to insert with no prep work. Once inside, the angled head made for an enjoyable sensation when rotating the toy. The shaft is small enough to fit comfortably, but the "handle" of the Cute G is short and not flared nearly far enough to let this toy remain in the anus without constant attention.

Personally, I'd slot the Cute G as a beginners toy.

Being only 6" long, the Cute G is fairly travel friendly, even though the bright pink color and obvious design don't make this toy discreet at all.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The Cute G's vibrations are centered in the head of the toy and powered by a single AA battery. It doesn't appear to be a battery hog, but I don't have any intention of using this thing to the end of it's battery life, so I may never knwo for sure. The vibration function is turned on by a small clear button located at the very bottom of the toy - aside from the rhinestones it's the only thing that isn't pink, so you can't miss it. The button presses easily with a fingertip even though it is flush with the base.

The toy has three speeds: "Umm, is this thing on?", "Oh look there you are... kinda.", and "Hey! I finally feel something." For a numerical comparison of vrooms:
1) .5
2) 1
3) 2

And although the toy lacks in power, it growls like a Ford Mustang GT under an overpass. Okay, not really, but noise compared to intensity, this toy is loud. I'm giving it a 3 on bees, which is about what the highest setting sounds like to me. Lowest is probably a 1.5 or so. Covers barely make a dent in the sound when the toy is set to high, and the buzz travels through a hollow door no problem.

Care and Maintenance

Being waterproof and plastic, the Cute G is super easy to clean. Scrub it down with anti-bacterial soap or toy cleaner and wash it off. Don't boil or put this toy in a dishwasher because the heat may damage the motor inside.

If switching users, or holes, take care to wash the toy thoroughly. Isopropyl alcohol or a mild bleach solution can be used to prevent bacteria transfer. The best solution for sharing toys is to cover them with a condom, but lacking that keep it clean and disinfected.

Being small, storage is just as easy as cleaning. Put it away, virtually anywhere, clean and dry and it will be ready to go when you are. Being plastic, there is the possibility of warping or damage if left in direct, prolonged sunlight - so keep it in a box, chest, drawer, etc.

Packaging

I received this toy in a long plastic, collapsable tube. There isn't much on the outside of the tube beyond some information about the edenfastasys website, but it isn't exactly discreet packaging. It is fairly minimal and easily recyclable.

There is no information, instructions, or inserts delivered with the toy.

Experience

I was unimpressed with the Cute G. I tried it for pretty much everything I could think of, and it just fell short. Although I can't specify anything exactly wrong with it, neither can I find much to cheer about. Unless you just love small, smooth toys, and don't require intense vibration, pass this one up.
Follow-up commentary
Not only is it underwhelming, but it's a battery hog, too! It sits in the bottom of the box, sans battery, where it will stay until I end up tossing it out.
