Rev Me Up
You could use them in a box, you could use them with a fox. You could use them here or there, you could use them anywhere.Published: September 16, 2011
Pros:
Inexpensive, good quality
Cons:
None
Well, they're batteries. They are not rechargeable, they are just your typical batteries. Nobody is going to know they are for toys if you have them out laying around. They aren't marked with the EdenFantasys logo or anything and the packaging is just plastic shrink wrap.
How long they last depends on what toy you are using them in but they do last quite a while in regular vibrators, bullets and other basic toys from my experience. I have only tried the AA size, so I can vouch for that but not the others. They are inexpensive, but they work well.
I would go as far as to say that these are probably better value than the name brand ones. I wouldn't put them in equipment that you need to save your life, but they work just fine for toys. I found this odd little trick to make them (and other batteries as well) last a little longer. Once they start dying out, if you flip them around so that they are using the opposite charge that they were before (take the one that was in the positive slot and flip it around and put it in the negative slot and vice versa) it gives them a little more life.
I plan on buying a bunch from EdenFantasys for my kids Christmas toys. I only wish they came in bigger packs. I recommend buying more than one at a time, because there is nothing more annoying than being out of batteries at an inconvenient time. Here is a list of things you could use them in: Cameras, flashlights (I said flashlights... not Fleshlights. Fleshlights don't need batteries.), remote controls, kids toys, adult toys, video game controllers, battery powered spinning pasta forks (yes, they make them) and many, many more things.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
The toy that I have these batteries in gets very frequent use. And it's been a few months, and it's still going strong!

Packaging for Batteries
-
I'd really like to know what packaging the AA batteries 4-pack comes in. The picture doesn't show. I've bought the N batteries, and those came in your "traditional" cardboard backing with plastic on front, but then I bought C batteries and they were just four C batteries rolled into a plastic baggie.
I want to purchase these to donate to the local women's shelter, but they'll only accept unwrapped items, so I need to know if it comes in "normal" battery packaging or if it will just be batteries in a plastic baggie. Anyone know? -
I've purchases this numerous times and they've always come traditionally packaged.

The packaging is a thin cardboard square with the plastic shell on the front holding the batteries like when you buy batteries from the store. The cardboard is really generic without any brand name on it. It just says "alkaline batteries" and it's black with white letters... but the batteries are indeed Duracell's and they have the name on them.
Hope that helps.

Good review! First review I've read about batteries.
not sure why we need a review about batteries, but thanks for sharing.
They ARE brand name. Did you actually purchase these? They are Duracell just in new packages.
