AA batteries 4pack - batteries discontinued by Various - review by sunflower

These mystery batteries with no brand name on the photograph turned out to be a pack of Duracell alkaline batteries. The 4 pack is very normal looking and discrete, no “the SEX SHOP you can trust” or “BATTERIES FOR YOUR NEW VIBRATOR” kind of labels, which I find great. There are even illustrations of flashlights and calculators on the back... But we all know you’re not buying them for that purpose. They could be used for household items if you needed to, they are just plain old batteries.

On the topic of battery life, Duracell is excellent and I have no complaints. They have lasted a good while while being used in toys and I have had one in the very computer mouse I am currently using for a few weeks and it’s still going strong. I purchased these with an AA compatible toy for the sake of convenience. Getting everything you need in one package is great, no extra trips to the store to pick up batteries!


Battery tips:
-Conserve battery life! Remove the battery from your toy when not in use, especially for a rarely used toy.
-Don’t let water into your vibrator’s battery compartment or they will not work. Take special care when cleaning toys that are not waterproof!
-Contrary to popular belief, Duracell has set the record straight and stated that refrigerating or freezing your batteries are not recommended for storage and don’t make a difference. Keeping them in very hot areas is also a bad idea.
-Don’t put them in a fire.
-They don’t taste good when you lick them.
-Double check the toy you are buying them for runs on AA batteries because buying the wrong thing is always a bummer.

The picture I have included looks kind of crusty and beat up and that is because it has been sitting around for a while. Yours will come all shiny new with the other 3 batteries intact.

I am pleased with the quality of these batteries and with Eden for having them as an option to buy. I could find cheaper batteries elsewhere but I am willing to spend more because it's so convenient. I am looking into buying rechargeable AA batteries right now because they're cheaper in the long run.
