Ridged rocker - g-spot vibrator discontinued by NMC Ltd - review by Vally

The Ridged Rocker is great at G Spot stimulation. It can be used for thrusting but be careful, I hooked my pelvic bone with it a couple of times the first time I used it. The material is a hard plastic but velvety to the touch, so for anyone that likes firm G Spot stimulation this is a great vibe. I think it is fantastic for solo play but as long as your partner was careful it could be wonderful for couples too.

The material is a very hard plastic, there is no give or flex to this toy at all. The texture of the plastic is tactile and sort velvety. I did not notice a smell or taste. I would say that beginners should be careful especially if trying to use this as a thrusting toy, because the material is hard it would be easy to be too rough with it. The material cleans up very easily with water and anti-bacterial toy cleaner. I had to use lube with it though, the plastic is not at all slick.

The design is fantastic for G Spot stimulation. There was a bit of a learning curve for me because the end is upturned so much.

I like the size, not too big or too small for me, but if you are a beginner it may be on the large size. It is definitely not an unrealistic size, there are penises in the world as large as this vibe, but because of the shape it may take a little more manipulation to insert. Because of the average size, it should not be too difficult to hide. I don't think it can be mistaken for anything other than a vibrator though, you probably wont want to display it as art when not in use.

Take the batteries out for travel though because the power button is very easy to push.

At first, because I am used to thrusting toys, I thought the variable vibration functions were a waste. However, I have since changed my mind. While you can thrust a bit with this vibrator, I have found that setting it on one of the pulsating functions and barely moving it (if at all) while using a second vibe on my clit produces extreme blended orgasms. We are talking earth shaking, soaking wet orgasms here. I was not expecting this, in fact usually when I squirt it is not accompanied by an orgasm, this time it was and it was extreme.

The vibrations are pretty strong, not as strong as a wand, but stronger than many of the other insertable vibes I have used. The patterns are easily distinguishable from one another. The pulsating patterns are fantastic. When used as I mentioned above the pulsating patterns almost simulate thrusting.

The toy is not very noisy compared to my other toys, I can barely hear it when holding it in my hand.

The vibrations are focused in the tip for the most part but do travel the length of the vibrator.

It is waterproof and has done fine with washing, I have not used it submerged or in the shower and probably won't, just a personal preference thing.

The power button location is my only complaint actually. There are ten functions on this vibe and I have a tendency to put my fingers on the base of toys for pressure, but the button is so easy to push that I am constantly changing the setting and having to rotate through all the functions to get back to the one I like.

I store it in a drawstring bag and it does not seem to pick up lint like the Jelly and Silicone toys do.

It is easy to wash in soap and water or toy cleaner, although because of the texture of the plastic I spend a little more time washing it than I would a slick plastic toy, just to make sure it is clean.

Any kind of lube is fine, it won't hurt the material.

Not dishwasher safe or safe to boil.

It came packaged in a blister pack, clear plastic with a insert. It was easy to open. You could use the package for storing the Ridged Rocker but it would not be very discreet or space saving, I threw it away and use a drawstring bag.

The instructions were concise but adequate for operational purposes.

Be prepared to spend some time getting to know this toy, especially if you are new to G Spot stimulation. Try different things with it like rocking it or leaving it still for a while, you might be surprised by the results.

As I said before, I found it a little frustrating at first as a thrusting toy, because of the location of the power button. Even for rocking the vibrator it is easy to change the settings on accident. I found it much more satisfying to insert the toy and just apply some pressure rather than moving it around much.

Add a clitoral vibrator for an even better experience. One note here, use a softer material clit vibe like jelly or silicone to avoid pinching between two hard surfaces.
