Ridged rocker - g-spot vibrator discontinued by NMC Ltd - review by Noira Celestia

The rigid rocker is an insertable g-spot vibrator that has a very pronounced curved tip for g-spot stimulation. You could use it alone or with a clitoral vibrator like an egg or a bullet. In addition to the g-spot, the strong dynamic vibrations provided by this toy can also be used almost anywhere on the body but is also particularly effective when used on the clitoris for clitoral orgasms. The ribbed texture of this toy creates a wonderful sensation when thrusting as long as it is used while being cautious of the hard curved tip. It is waterproof so it is great to bring in the bathroom with to use while showering. This could be used during partner play but it would be a tricky because of the shape of the vibrator I would be afraid someone other than the owner of the body it's being used on might accidentally hook the pubic bone. Primarily though I would suggest using it in a solo session. I would not recommend this for anal penetration both because the shape seems like it would be painful but also because there is not a flared based.

The ridged rocker has a smooth velvety feel with pronounced "ridges" and is made of ABS plastic. ABS plastic is hypoallergenic and phthalate free. It is not porous and can be sterilized by washing it with alcohol. However washing it with a gentle soap and water is enough to clean it. It is compatible with water, oil, and silicone based lubricants.

A lot of other people mentioned that this toy was probably not for beginners because of how ridged and textured it is, however this was my first insertable toy and I really enjoyed it's firmness and shape.

I am probably the only one in the world to think this but when I first opened the package there was this faint smell to the vibrator that reminded me of the smell of opening a new My Little Pony package. The smell was gone within the first use and I honestly was sort of sad about it. Childhood nostalgia in a sex toy. Anyhow, if I put my nose up to it and smell there is a scent but definitely not strong enough to easily be noticed. It has no taste at all.

Part of the reason I picked out the ridged rocker was the overall aesthetic quality and design appealed to me. It has this very lovely light lavender color with a darker lavender base. It's fairly obvious looking at the ridged rocker that it is not very discreet. I'm guilty of leaving it laying out in my bedroom or bathroom on occasion but I definitely wouldn't leave it laying around if you're expecting people over (or if your kids are awake).

I just love the ridges on the ridged rocker; they really add to the overall sensation and make my vagina feel more stimulated and full. It is 7 inches long about 6 inches of which are insertable including the g-tip which alone is between 1.5-2 inches. The circumference varies with the ridges; the largest ridge is about 5 inches in circumference tapering smaller with each ridge and ending with a circumference about 4in at the tip.

It's really hard to say who is going to like this toy as it's clearly not for everyone. Even though I haven't been able to stimulate my g-spot very successfully with the ridged rocker, I do really enjoy using it. I think if the g-tip was just a little less pronounced I would have more success with it. Then again I haven't been able to find my g-spot consistently on my own either so I can't blame that on the ridged rocker.

The vibrations in the ridged rocker can be felt through out the whole toy but seem to be the strongest at the tip. I found them to be are surprisingly strong and use it for for clitoral stimulation almost as much as I do for penetration. I have found my g-spot with the ridged rocker once but have not been able to find it consistently.

The vibrations are controlled through one button. Which didn't sound too bad to at first until I was using it and realized just how annoying it is to have to cycle through all of them to turn the damned thing off when you're done. There are three speeds and seven vibration patterns. The packaging doesn't say what the rpms are but even the lowest setting feels moderately strong to me.

I'm not sure which pattern I like the most for internal stimulation but I'm leaning towards the seventh setting titled "intermittent." I can't really describe them well but I uploaded an image of the picture they have depicting the rhythms on the back of the box here

It can get moderately loud, you certainly could not use it in the same room with someone without them hearing it. I do think you could use it behind a closed door without it being heard except for maybe by your cat; my cat always seems to hear when I'm using either this vibrator or my Hitachi and sneaks up on me to watch while I'm not paying attention.

The ridged rocker does have an o-ring so it is waterproof. I was able to take in the bathtub with me and submerge it without issues however the packaging advises against submerging it in a bathtub or pool and to only use it in the shower. Then again the packaging also says in the same small print for external use only so I'm not sure how seriously to take the "cautions."

After playing with the ridged rocker always clean it. It's fairly easy to clean. You can use anti-bacterial soap but I often just use a gentle soap and some warm water. You could also use toy cleaner or toy wipes if you desired. I usually rub my hands along the toy between the ridges to make sure I get everything off, then I leave it on the bathroom sink to dry. It's waterproof so don't worry about damaging it while washing with water, just don't put it in the dishwasher or boil it. That seems like common sense to me though.

I have been storing it in the package it came in thus far, but I'm moving it to a toy bag. Things don't stick to it very easily so I wouldn't be overly concerned about having it pick up lint in a bag.

The package is a clam shell type with an inserted paper which has information in multiple langauages. There is also a diagram on the bottom of the backside showing how to put the batteries in. Incidentally, the ridged rocker takes 3 AAA batteries which does not come with the toy. You will have to buy those separately. I forgot to do this and was totally bummed when I got my toy in the mail and realized I had no AAA batteries.

While I don't think this package is really great for storage, but I have using it that way. The package starting to look dented and crappy now though so I won't be keeping it there any longer. I did include a link in the function section to the back of the package.

Since this is my first g-spot vibrator I can't really compare it to other toys or experiences, however I do believe the ridged rocker to be a nicely made toy that I enjoy using. I usually use it in conjunction with another toy and definitely have found that I experience more intense orgasms this way than I do just using a clitoral vibrator alone.

While this toy is marketed for g-spot stimulation I have personally found that I get the most satisfaction out of this toy when the "G-tip" is turned upside down. This happened a couple times on accident where I found myself experiencing an incredible orgasm I would pull to toy out and realize it was upside down. Thinking it was possible that this was happening from strong muscle contraction turning the toy I decided to try inserting the toy upside down intentionally and found that it is certainly the most pleasurable for me this way!
I should add this was also with clitoral stimulation, but most of the pleasure I experienced felt like it was coming from inside. I was advised on the forums here that it may be that the rigid rocker's curve is stimulating my perennial sponge and that I am experiencing PS-spot orgasms, or that it's stimulating my cervix and I'm having cervical orgasms. I have no idea but it is definitely a new kind of orgasm for me and I love it.
