The Thumper definitely thumps, but might not find your G-spot.

The Thumper has a lot going for it, but beware that one-size does not fit all. Awesome design, silky-smooth exterior, great vibration and rotation options, and totally body-safe, but in the end was difficult for me to get the full experience. Might not recommend for newbies to dual stimulation/rabbits (as I am), those who have smaller anatomy, or a hard to reach G-spot.

Use

This is a rabbit vibrator intended for clitoral and g-spot stimulation. The vibrations in the clitoral stimulating bunny, and the rotations in the shaft, can be used independently. I found it difficult to maneuver, so I would not personally use this during partner play. If you are confident enough using it on your own and can direct someone else while doing the work, then by all means - try it with your partner! Although it is not intended for anal play, you can turn it upside down while inserted vaginally to tease the anus. Also, it is waterproof, so take it in the shower if that's what you prefer!

I don't see why this toy wouldn't be suitable for traveling, the only downside to taking it along with you is that it is not the quietest toy out there. It is not so very loud that I would say not to use it if you are living on campus, but a blanket over top of you won't cut it if someone else is in the room.

Material / Texture

This toy is 100% silicone (10 out of 10 on the safety ranking scale!), nonporous, hypo-allergenic, latex as well as phthalates-free, and is velvety smooth on the outside. I personally did not feel the texture of the ridges inside me enough to find it remarkably more pleasureable. The base where the controls are is plastic, and is easy to hold on to. They didn't make it easy to accidentally press buttons while in use, but it isn't impossible to do so (I did on one occasion while I was experimenting). There is no odor whatsoever that I noticed.

As soon as you're ready and lubed up, it slips in easily. The shaft is hard and inflexible, but the ears on the rabbit are somewhat flexible. The trouble I had with this toy is that it does not properly reach my clit, so when I attempt to move the ears while the vibration is on, the ears will bounce back to their original state if you are not holding them down.

It is apparently a lint magnet. I dried it off with a hand towel after washing, and didn't really notice anything sticking to it, so I promptly put it back in its casing after letting it completely dry. You can let it air dry, but if you have cats like I do, and if their hair seems to just be floating around waiting to land anywhere it wants, then it will definitely be attracted to this toy.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is about 9 1/2" in total length, 5 of which is insertable, but you'll need at least 4 1/2" to be able to reach the clit stimulator. The length has potential interfere with its ability to stimulate your g-spot and clitoris at the same time. I found that it was not arched enough for me, and the length and girth made it difficult to maneuver around to find the right spot. This seems to not be the case with everyone as our anatomies are all so different, but definitely do your research to see if this may or may not be the right fit for you.

I did, however, find the design to be very attractive. It's not intimidating, nor is it overly whimsical and cutesy.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The clit stimulator has 7 vibration levels and 3 rotation levels. I can't REALLY distinguish between the three rotation levels, all I can tell is that it gets louder. However, the vibrations in the clit are pretty awesome (if you reach it, that is!) Like mentioned before, the bunny's ears weren't very reliable for me, and when you put pressure against it the intensity lessens. He has a little nose to him, but I didn't particularly feel the vibrations any stronger there.

First off, the control panel lights up, which is awesome! But, it makes it harder to see the buttons. Since there aren't really many buttons, that doesn't really matter as long as you remember which is which by position. The first button controls the rotation of the shaft, the second cycles through the vibrations, and the third shuts it on and off.

The rotations weren't enough stimulate my g-spot due to the length and degree of the arch. I did notice on another review that you can insert it upside down and use for shallow or external anal stimulation, instead of the clitoral stimulation, along with the internal rotations. I flipped mine over to see what the rotations felt like (without trying to position the external stimulator), and the rotations felt much different. Not sure if it's a good kind different yet, but it might be worth exploring for yourself since everyone's preferences are different.

The vibrations are nice, despite the fact that I'm still having trouble positioning this toy to experience it at its full potential. The first setting is a standard steady vibration, the second setting gets stronger than the first, the third gets stronger than the second, the fourth is just a steady pulse, the fifth is a sort of escalating pattern that reminds me of starting up the engine of an old car, the sixth is a faster pulse than number four, and the seventh is a pattern a few quick pulses followed by a longer one (basically: dun-dun-dun-duuuuuuunnn).
    • Lots of variety in function
    • Multiple settings
    • Not very discreet

Care and Maintenance

Again, this is silicone, so you have to use a water-based lubricant with this toy, as silicone-based could ruin it. Although it's waterproof, since the battery compartment is so easy to open and close, I don't completely trust it. I think it would be best to avoid fully submerging it and just stick to the shower/sink. It is also advisable to remove the batteries from your toy when not in use.

Cleaning is simple because there aren't really any deep indentations that are hard to get into. You can clean with soap and water, or simply use any toy cleaner from here on Eden. I am not familiar with this, but I know that you can use a 10% bleach solution wipe to clean it as well. After washing in the sink with antibacterial soap, I dried it off with a clean towel, and didn't have problems with fuzzies being left on it. You can let it air dry if you prefer, but I just think that would give lint more of an opportunity to find it.

I would have liked to have it come with a nice pouch for the price it was, especially because it is supposedly a lint magnet, but no biggie. For now, I'm keeping mine in the box it came with and inside a larger case I bought to store my toys so that it doesn't get smashed.

Packaging

The packaging is alright. It's just clear plastic so you can see the toy. No naked ladies or anything potentially embarrassing like that, just pretty swirlies and fancy font. All that's on the back is a list of its features and tells you the basics: use 3-AAA batteries, wash before and after use, remove batteries when not in use, and use water-based lubrication. The toy is securely held in a molded piece of plastic, but that might not hold up for too long as a means of storage. You might want to get it a pouch and keep it somewhere safe.

Personal comments

Although my experience has been less than ideal, I would not discourage anyone from buying it. If it works for your anatomy and sensitivity level, then that's wonderful! It truly is an attractive toy with a great deal of potential, but be aware that one size definitely does not fit all. I personally wouldn't not suggest this as someone's first rabbit toy for these reasons. This is not particularly an easy toy to explore yourself with, so if you are a newbie, you may want to try something else first.

Experience

Overall, this toy has left with a feeling of, "Oh, this is sort of nice," but no more than that. This toy did nothing for my g-spot, and the clitoral attachment is not possible to get to the spot I need it to be in. It was pleasurable in a mild, relaxing way, but nothing mind-blowing. I wouldn't consider my g-spot so much far back as I would say it is a little deeper inward, so the stimulating part of this shaft just seemed to miss it. Perhaps if it were more curved or flexible, it may have worked better for me.

Because I couldn't really feel the rotations of the shaft, I found it irritating at a certain point (even moreso after attempting thrusting), and continued to use it with the clitoral stimulator alone. Like I said, it was nice, but not orgasmic. What I have been doing because it does not fit my anatomy, is essentially rotating the toy around manually to massage around my labia, and that was nice. When I turned it upside down (with the shaft rotations still off), the vibrations off of the bunny's ears are pleasant on the outside of the anus. The bunny doesn't seem to hold a good spot for very long, so at a point I give up on getting off, and just enjoy it for what it's worth.

Although I am slightly disappointed that it just does not seem to work the way it was meant to for me, I'm not going to give up experimenting. Maybe it just takes time to get used to, and this wasn't a good idea for my first dual stimulator. I will continue in search for my perfect rabbit. I have noticed that this is not an easy feat for many.
Follow-up commentary
I'm still conflicted about this toy. I still love how smooth and plush it is, as well as the cute design, but it still doesn't work for me and I have no real reason to use it. I've discovered now that it's tolerable when shaft rotation is off, as the rotations were just too uncomfortable. The shaft is too straight and rigid, that it hit some less than desirable spots. Over time, the clitoral attachment has gotten closer to my clit the more I've warmed up to the size of the shaft, however. For that reason, it does feel much more pleasant, but it still does not do much for me at all, and I cannot get anywhere near orgasm with that alone.

I wouldn't not recommend this toy (I still think it's lovely and has potential), but I would caution anyone considering this as their first rabbit or toy in general, since it does not accommodate for very many individual anatomies.
