I was having a conversation with some women the other day and this topic was brought up. If a man has "ugly" teeth; lots of stains, just basically really poor oral hygiene... would you let him go down on you??

My answer was simple... I'd not even kiss him.

I like teeth. For me, I do not care if they are straight, uneven, overbite, underbite or missing a tooth from an activity; but when his teeth are covered in tar, stains, chipped, etc... I am a snob and cannot seem to get past that.

Is anyone else int he same boat?

lol. my hubby and i both dont have very good teeth but i brush mine daily 3x and of course b4 oral. he doesnt mind it

Ugly teeth are a turn off, and dirty teeth are so much worse. Poor hygiene is a dealbreaker.

I think teeth hygiene reflects the kinda person they are. If they have good teeth they probably care about their body, health, and well being. Bad teeth, well, they probably don't.

Ick, no nothing if your mouth is funky. Well brushed teeth that are a little crooked are ok but if you look/smell like you've never seen a toothbrush, I just can't get past it.

I think it depends on how breath is too.

One of my friends and former sexual partners has absolutely horrid looking teeth... they're pretty much orange. But her breath is always fresh and she doesn't have any cavities or anything, her teeth just look funky for some reason. And, as it turns out, she is phenomenal at giving oral sex.

Another person I know had great looking teeth but when she opened her mouth it literally smelled like shit. It didn't matter what she did, her breath always smelled like straight up poop. She had an abcess or something. And apparently she was great at oral too, but I never ever would have had sex with her or even kissed her because I don't want those bacteria in/on my person.

So... ugly teeth are ok provided there's no indication of decay. They're not as nice as pretty teeth... I will choose a partner with nice, straight, white teeth over someone who doesn't if everything else is the same... but they're no dealbreaker either.

Never had an issue with it. I have had partners whose teeth don't look so great, but neither do mine, and I am very serious about brushing and flossing. Just because someone's teeth are stained doesn't mean they don't have a clean mouth. I personally have bad teeth because I didn't take care of them when I was a kid and my adult teeth were growing in. But that was a long time ago and no matter the appearance of my teeth, they are clean
