Truth is, we have none. Even our old grandparents, and much older friends are now "online". We text, we email, we Facebook and Skyp, and also plan our get togethers in the real world. We have no intereactions we can think of, with anyone not "online".

It depends on the person. Texting and Skype tend to be the most common. If they live close, seeing each other in person is preferred.

I was told and told and told to get an iPhone or an iPad so I could use the iMessenger system. I was told that was how they all kept in touch because it was free and they talked all the time in that manner.

So I got an iPad.

No one talks on iMessenger.

So I just keep on doing what I do. Skype.

The "friends" I have I keep in touch with through facebook. No one can seem to bother with phone calls, texting, or visiting. I don't really have anyone to hang out with so I don't.
