Sharing a Bathroom?

Contributor: ~LaUr3n~ ~LaUr3n~
I recently have come to LOVE the fact that my boyfriend and I have an apartment with two bathrooms. Full bathrooms at that. He wanted to share everything. But me, NO NO. I NEED my bathroom space. We take showers together a lot. Th only reason we don't is if we want max space to shave. But other than that, I need my own bathroom for all my stuff and private time too. Plus I like it being clean.

How about you guys and gals? What is your living/bathroom situation? Does it bother you, not bother you?

Informative topic breakdown of Cock rings:

Best
Can anyone tell me what the best brand for a penis ring is?

I need help figuring out this "puzzle" that my guy gave me...
My boyfriend is moving soon, and he told me he was going to get me something before he leaves. I immediately started asking questions about it to try.

Sex During Yeast Infection?
Is this okay? Is there a kind of condom or lube that is more okay than others?

Curious how metal cock rings work?
How do you get them on and off? Do they hurt?

Storing books,ideas for my situation?
ok so live at my parents have no book shelf..should I clean out a large drawer and use it to store books? I mean I wish to have alot of books off...

I am lucky to have my whole house to myself My favorite part of being single... I don't have to share! lol. I don't think it would bother me to share a bathroom, as long as the person cleans up after themselves and keeps their things together, and whatnot. All depends on that.

I share a bathroom with my boy. I don't really keep much in the bathroom except the stuff in the shower. We have a big over-the-shower rack for keeping shampoo, soap, etc., so all of that has a place. I just get part of the sink area, and he gets the other part. I have other personal items but I keep them in my room. A little clutter doesn't bother me so I don't mind sharing a bathroom.

VERY true. When we had separate apartments we did just fine sharing when we switched weeks at a time. But the best part about having my own bathroom is I can take my time lol.

I currently have 2 bathrooms. One for the kids, one for me. If my hubby comes back then I will be sharing it again. It doesn't really bother me, however it is much cleaner when he isn't around, that's for sure!

Our bathroom is just big enough for the tub/shower, sink and toilet. For some reason everyone needs in at the same time.(two of us plus two kids and well three dogs too.

I live alone so right now all the rooms are mine and mine alone And if I move in with my boy, we've already discussed the fact that separate bathrooms will be a necessity for me.

Ugh - I NEED and WANT my own bathroom! I haven't had my own bathroom EVER! I went straight from living with family to marriage and back to family when I seperated. I am so sick of men in the bathroom - they never put the ring down, they leave shaving cream on the towels (my ex-husband even WIPED HIS NOSE on the towels!! EWWWWWWW),they leave the floor wet, they never change the toliet paper, they even have the nerve to complain about my period stuff UNDER the cabinet! I want my own bathroom!

I don't live with my guy yet but GOD I hope we get two bathrooms. I have this thing about water on the bathroom floor or sink. It has to be dry all the time or I gag and freak out. And sometimes when he's by himself he won't flush every time he goes to piss...IT IS SO FUCKING GROSS! He did it because in Atlanta there was/still is problems with the water level and he's "green" so he insisted on being nasty. I have to tell him to flush every time he pees. I hate it so fucking much! Fucking hippie ass.

When he grew up he had a nanny and maid clean up after him and he's still horribly fucking spoiled and gets shaving cream and hair gel all over the counter. Why do I love him so damn much? Oh, right...the sex

I'd go insane without 2 bathrooms in one place because I have Ibs and my whole day revolves around being in the bathroom tons. If I had NO other choice I'd get myself some kind of toilet like a training one or something because if someone was in there for even a few minutes when I had to go,which is tons everyday, I just couldn't wait.

I really need my own to relax and not worry with this problem.

We have three bathrooms, but we share them all...well actually one is the kids' bathroom and there's times we've used it but not often. Kids are gross and there's too many bath toys in the tub for me to shower without it being a pain in the ass anyway.

The master bathroom is where we both shower and where all our bath stuff is. We also shower together most of the time, so it just works out. I don't really have to worry about neatness because he's neater in the bathroom than I am. I have crap all over the place while he likes to keep it all organized.

Then downstairs is a half bath..and this is home to all my "crap". My nail polish, makeup, lotions, sprays, etc. Having kids I usually get ready while I'm walking around getting them ready and so it is just easier for all my stuff to be down here in a central location. Otherwise I'm up in the master bath cut off from everyone, while everything just goes to hell down here... Mike is slow getting ready, he doesn't multi task well, and I can get fully dressed in the amount of time it takes him to put his socks and shoes on. So, there's no point in him attempting to get the kids ready..we'd be an hour late to everywhere we go. Ok rant done... what was this question about??

I voted for two: "I have to share but don't like it" & "No opinion/I don't need my own."

I have to share in my dorm, and I HATE that. But I look forward to sharing a bathroom with my partner when we live together

Our situation before leaving the house each day is so weird. We have two bathrooms and we swap back and forth as different things are in different bathrooms. I could claim one room and he could claim the other, but we both use a lot of stuff in grooming and one bathroom is too tiny to store much. It's bad when I want that specific brush and he has it behind a locked door. We are OK with this arrangement, though. We like sharing.

I voted both ways, because I'm like that. We have one bathroom in this apartment and so we share it regardless but it's not a big deal most of the time. However, there are times when it would be nice to have 2 just for a little extra personal space and all that. It's not a huge priority though.

Right now, I have my own as we do not live with each other. Whenever we have stayed with each other, however, we have shared the bathroom as we would if we were living together. I absolutely love it. I am not sure how she feels about it, but I love it. It makes me feel so at home and at peace, waking up in the morning, taking a shower, having her brush her teeth while I'm washing up. Even when it takes her three times the amount of time that it takes me, it still feels absolutely perfect. It reinforces the relationship, I feel.

I have no problem sharing the bathroom with the boyfriend. Like, no problem in the slightest with sharing. However, the only time that I feel a problem with sharing is when he leaves the shower towel damp - it's a very, very small annoyance, but annoying none-the-less.

I would love to have my own bathroom, especially since I'm the only female in the house. But, it's not going to happen until the kids move out.

Currently its just me and Jonathan in an apartment. We share the bathroom and I like it. We always brush our teeth together and shower together. If we didn't share it we wouldn't spend that time together, and I like that time.
However, when we have kids I'd like to have our own separate bathroom.

My bf and I share a bathroom, but it's a very large bathroom w/ two sinks and a watercloset.

Also, he has to be one of the overall cleanest men I have ever met. He cleans the shower after he uses it, never leaves beard hairs in the sink and cleans the mirror if he gets toothpaste on it.

What more could a girl ask for? (her own bathroom, I guess. lol)

We have kids, and two full baths. However, the shower doesn't work well in the downstairs bath, so EVERYBODY uses our bathroom upstairs. It has two doors, one going into the main hall and one going into our room. But, if you are in the bathroom, sitting on the potty, you are about 1 foot from my head in the bed, so I get freaked out when the kids use the bathroom when we're having sex. I've even made a rule. "If Mommy and Daddy go to bed, and you have to do more than a short pee, use the downstairs bathroom, because we may need to get in to the bathroom and we need our privacy." Needless to say, they still use it.

The downstairs bathroom is a full bath, but smaller than the upstairs, and our older girl still home has taken the place over with her make up and her hair stuff etc. I looked in the tub (which no one uses) and there are curling irons, make up, curlers, product, a HUGE box of hair dryers and all kinds of stuff. SO, from now on SHE has to clean that bathroom.

I would LOVE my own DRESSING ROOM with a full closet. I like sharing the bathroom with My Man because we often bathe together (we have a large Jacuzzi Tub in the Main Bathroom and it is nice to take a Jacuzzi together. If I'm alone.....the jets.....are lovely.) I would actually prefer a huge walk in closet, with walls for my clothes and shoes. I have some clothes, not a ton, I don't know if it's enough to fill a full walk in, though) and my make up and hair stuff.

However (TMI) years ago, I used to have IBS pretty severely and I would have killed for my own bathroom. At the time we had a house with ONE bathroom, and My Man and TWO little kids. Needless to say, I was frequently kicking people out of there. Not nice. The IBS has calmed down, but if I could have a bathroom AND a huge dressing room, I would take both. Maybe in out next house. But, I don't know, in this economy if we could afford a house that big.

I don't live with my significant other right now, but I do live with my dad.

It's a bit different, sure, but, we tried the sharing of the bathroom thing and it didn't work. So, now, we have separate bathrooms, yay!

I think I wouldn't mind sharing a bathroom with my significant other, as long as it was a large bathroom, with a big shower. And two sinks. Definitely.

We have two bathrooms, one we call the "Master" bathroom, and one is the "Kitty" bathroom. We each decorated our own bathrooms however we liked. Both bathrooms are huge, have garden tubs, and giant mirrors. He winds up using "my" bathroom 99% of the time though. I guess it's cozier. lol. I don't really need a bathroom to myself, but this place came with two so we weren't going to complain.
