The price tag may seem high, but there is a lot of technology behind this.
Unfortunately, the real cost is hidden. AFAIK, it must connect to the manufacturer's server on the internet each time you use it and it only works with their pay per view streaming movies. So, it is truly a "pay to cum" product. You don't get to use it unless the meter is running.
The content is specially encoded to send signals to the realtouch device, and, AFAIK, the content is sold by scene rather than full length movies. So the ad is misleading when it says "watch your favorite movies". The reality is that this only works with the movies they stream on their site.
The company does have a developer's kit out for free, but, from what I've read, there is a lot of work involved in encoding a scene, so it is labor intensive (hence the expensive PPV service).
